I got the 0.25 ounce tube that came in the starter set. I've had it for almost five weeks now and there's still plenty left. I only use it in the p.m., but there is no reason the full size tube should run out in 2-3 weeks.

Although I love the way this product works, I will say I was VERY disappointed by the extremely small size of the tube. For the price this lotion should be much larger. I would compare the size to that of a travel lotion. Used daily, and very sparingly, this tube will only last two or three weeks.

I ordered this about 3wks ago; you do not need alot of the product so it lasts awhile. I have used it everynight; about 4-5 times at morning time and I do have 3/4 of the tube left. Hope this helps.

I purchased this product with the entire kit of On a Clear Day products, but it doesn't say if you are to follow with a moisterizer. I am assuming you should, but you know what they say about assuming!

I don't use a moisturizer after I apply this. I only use it at night, so in the day I wear a sunscreen with spf. I find that it's moisturizing enough on it's own, but if your skin feels dry then by all means use a moisturizer with it.

YES!!! .specially use one with sunscreen . this product has retinol you need suncreen or you will burn your skin.

I am not certain if there is one correct answer but this product is always the first product I use, then I follow with either moisturizer or my primer depending on what kind of day my skin is having. I did read a review when I first started using these products (bought the same introductory kit) and I layer ALL of the products-start with this one at night, next is On A Clear Day Gel, then my Hope in a Jar and last, when needed, the sulfur treatment. I never in a million years thought I would be putting all this stuff on my face but I seem to be getting somewhere. Finally! 50 + years old and i still have to deal with this! Ugh! Good luck!

The clear day has retinol and hyaluronic acid which sounds better than just retinol, but the other one has a higher percentage of retinol in it.

'Help Me' is an intensive treatment product, to be applied prior to moisturizer. 'On A Clear Day Retinol Clarifying Lotion' is the moisturizer to be used after 'Help Me'. I imagine 'Help Me' can be used only when skin problems arise, whereas the Clarifying Lotion is good for ongoing daily use to help prevent wrinkles, large pores, and breakouts.

Since this is a Vitamin A Retinol product, I believe the answer is NO! Don't take any vitamin A derivative during pregnancy. Check with your doctor, but I'm sure there is a link to birth defects.

I use multiple products daily. I usually put this one on last thing before I go to bed and occasionally during the day. I would put the serum on all over and then apply this just to scars or other problem areas.

The consultant at the Sephora store recommended I use this as a nighttime moisturizer alone. She said putting makeup and/or other products over it might inhibit the effectiveness.

Does this product replace a traditional moisturizer?
I recently purchased the retinol treatment as a part of the On A Clear Day kit. I am a little confused about the application process; is it supposed to replace a traditional moisturizer or do I need an additional moisturizing product? I am 30 years old with sensitive/ combination skin that is prone to hormonal breakouts in the chin/ perioral area.

I don't think so. I'm 28, I use my normal moisturizer that has SPF in it before I go outside and I use a Vitamin C infused moisturizer before bedtime. BUT, I do wait about 5 minutes before applying either moisturizer, just in case the retinol clarifying lotion needs time to absorb.

This product is a bit milder than Help Me. I think it has a slightly lower concentration of retinol. I like this, because it does not produce as much peeling, or as dramatic an effect. You might want to try both. I did, and I prefer this product to Help Me. Further, you might need to use a moisturizer with Help Me to prevent flaking and dryness, but I do not currently need to use one with this product.

I would like to see some answers to your question-I think the main difference is that this has afew more ingredients for calming the skin but the Help Me is a bigger size product for the money, so....depends on if you need the extra calming ingredients-I don't think I do and am going to switch over to the Help Me next order.

The All Over Treatment helps me stay clear and in control. When your skin clears, it helps fade redness. The Clairifying Lotion smells a little potent and it's recommended u use twice daily. The smell does fade, and it does help fade acne marks and redness. I actually bought the entire kit. Both are good products..it's really up to u. The Cleanser is foam cleanser. Just a little goes a long way. Very gentle. If I were u I'd try the kit.

you know, i spent a long time debating between oacd and help me. i went with oacd clarifying lotion because they have nearly identical ingredients, but thought this one would be gentler, since you can use this one twice a day. i found that this one did the trick for me, and you really don't need a lot of product to see results. i had much success with this one. when i tried it, i noticed results within two days, and now with continued use, my skin is glowing and is very clear...and i never had good clear skin..ever.

I bought the starter set on Jan. 19. The 0.25 ounce retinol lotion still has plenty left in it and it's now Feb. 21. I have used it once a day: a little goes a long way.
