Do the shades run dark?

I've seen from reviews that people are complaining the shades turn darker after they dry. I have rather pale skin, pinker at times but usually neutral. I use Cameo 202 in Dior Airflash and it looks just slightly too pink for me. Is there a shade that is similar to that that isn't too pink? I have a problem with shades, because if I don't get one that's too pinkish then I get one that's too pale and makes me look like a ghost.

Try Clinique's superfit makeup in "Petal". I have very pale skin also, and this color may answer your pinkish issue. Worked for me! I always used to buy foundations that were too white, rather than just pale. I have finally found my perfect shade. PETAL!

Is this matte enough?

I have dry skin around the jawline, but I get terribly oily in the t-zone and around the nose. Is this matte enough or should I buy the powder as well for touch-ups? Will the power make it look bad?

Well you should always be using powder to set foundations to make them last. I found it worked ok in the oil control department, but I was definitely combining it with a pressed powder on top.

i have very very dry skin and i love this makeup! i just apply a good moisturizer before i put it on and no worries! i suggest trying this out, i've never had any problems with dry patches. plus the price isn't bad compared to other nice foundations. Give it a go!

Right color for me?

I have brown hair, brown eyes and tan very well in the summer, but have a light/ medium skin in the winter. I have gold undertones and i tried the Neutral color, but it was a bit pink for me...is there another color i can use that is close to neutral, just not as pink? Maybe champagne? or would that be too light?

My advice would be first time is to go and get a color match rather than guess. Every line offers different products and sometimes you might be surprised what works. Then you can buy your refills online. I have fair skin and i thought the lightest shade would be even too dark but I went to Sephora and they did a color match turns out it's the next shade to the lightest.

I always buy 'honey' and a lighter shade to mix with my changing skin color throughout the seasons. Honey has gold undertones and wont leave you looking orangy or pink. Mixing it with a lighter shade when needed should help. A foundation rule of thumb for me: Always mix a lighter and darker shade for best skin tone match!

Hi - if your makeup is settling into lines the cause could be any number of issues: the makeup could be drying out or separating in which case you should replace it. Or maybe you need to use a primer. I've been using a primer for the past few months and love it - nothing settles into the lines near my eyes (crows feet). If you use primer you need to let it set up for a minute before putting on foundation and make sure you don't use too much primer or it will crease. If you do have a wrinkle that is deep enough to fold (I do in my smile lines) you'll want to set your makeup with a light powder so that when there is folding the product doesn't stick together. Without the powder you are more likely to have product settling into fine and deep lines.

I have extremely white skin, and I can't get any shade of Superfit to match. They're all much too yellow. Switch to another formula instead. My favorite is Perfectly Real in shade 01(Very Fair-Neutral.)
