I got this kit for my boyfriend who has to shave everyday for work. He was really struggling with razor burn/irritation, and ingrown hairs. He loves this product line. The facial cleanser uses a mild amount of glycolic acid to assist in oil control and other skin care concerns, but is not a specific acne wash. Additionally, the scrub and pre-shave oils together should do the most good. My husband had the same skin issues (lots of ingrown hairs, severe razor burn) prior to my having purchased him this kit. As pricey as these products are, they are well worth their cost! The ingrowns and razor burn are no longer an issue!

I have had less trouble with razor bumps with this product. My skin typically gets very irritated when I shave. I have had less trouble with cuts and bumps since I bought this kit. I get a closer shave and less irritation as well.

Most of these items have little or no smell, especially after use. The facial scrub probably smells the strongest. It has a citrusy scent. The shaving cream doesn't have a strong smell, but has a cool feeling when you put it on.

Nothing smells overpowering to me. It seems very chill. The pre shave oil smells like extra virgin olive oil, which I like, haha.

My boyfriend uses this and I wouldn't say that it has a strong smell. I do notice a bit of a minty smell when he uses it, but I think it's a nice, subtle scent. I definitely wouldn't say it's overpowering. I hope that helps!

My the time my husband is done shaving most of the fragrance is gone. This isn't made to be a cologne but is scented like most products these days. Also, I've included a list of the ingredients, so your guy can see that there's nothing in it that smells bad. While my husband's skin may not necessarily be sensitive, I have noticed a tremendous difference since he's been using the items in this shave kit. He gets far fewer ingrown hairs and has not since gotten razor burn, whereas he used to get AWFUL razor burn and ingrowns. Even when he skips a day of shaving, his face still looks good (which is important if you are prone to having sensitive skin).

These products are mostly for shaving with a razor blade.

I would imagine that the cleanser, scrub, and after shave would work well before and after shaving with an electric razor, but the cream and oil would not work with an electric razor.

I don't think that you would use shaving cream with an electric razor. Even the pre-shave oil might not be useful to him if he uses electric only. This kit might not be the thing for him- maybe get an after shave lotion or something like that instead.

My boyfriend uses both electric or razor depending on how much time he has. This kit was great for him. He loved the way it felt. He usually doesnt follow all the steps thoroughly but does use the cleanser and shave cream and lotion religiously for shave. I specially would like to comment that his skin has improved from minimized pores to better skin. Even i have gotten in on it every time i get a chance when i visit him just to get the tingle from the cleanser =)
