A moisturizer on top of HRG is a personal choice. If you are using HRG and you feel your skin is comfortable and not too oily and not too dry then it is fine to use it by itself. If you feel you would like more moisture on top of HRG, after trying it alone for a couple of days, then you might also enjoy using Clarifying Day Care Lotion or Balancing Day Care Cream. The Clarifying Day Care Lotion is a lightweight lotion formulated for an oily or combo to oily skin. The Balancing Day Care Cream is a medium texture moisturizer to balance a normal or combination skin. You might also enjoy using BB Refining Treatment (natural exfoliator), Purifying Mask, Purifying Foaming Cleanser in the morning and Balancing Foaming Cleanser at night.

Sometimes my skin can be dry and I find that when I put this product on all my dryness miracuously vanishes! I don't even need a moisturizer!

Why doesn't Jurlique give a list of ingredients for each product?

My adult daughter is very allergic and has sensitivities to soy and almonds which is found in many skincare products. It would be most helpful to customers like me to have ingredient information available.

As 40Oilyskin from Atlanta stated, you can definitely find the entire list of ingredients on Jurlique’s website. However, just for your own information, Jurlique products at Sephora with almond are: Herbal Recovery Neck Serum, Daily Exfoliating Cream, Rose Hand Cream, and the Purifying Mask. Products with Soy are Balancing Day Care Cream, Moisture Replenishing Cream, Rose Hand Cream, Purifying Foaming Cleanser, Purifying Cleansing Lotion, and Herbal Recovery Neck Serum.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the information that comes with this product. However, I know that this product as well as all Jurilique products are "natural" and manufactured in Australia.

If your skin is combo or oily ,it doesn't need any additional moisturizer.Can be used on the neck as well.Great under foundation.

I think it may work for oil skin. I have combination to dry skin and this one is not me. Gel is too light for dry skin but suppose to be good for oil.

I found it kind of drying and sticky, so it might actually sop up oil, if that's what you're looking for! Maybe give it a try?

This product is very light weight but extremely hydrating (not in a greasy way, though). Don't think it will cause breakout but probably too hydrating for am use. Should be awesome for pm use alone. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

I am 39 years old with dry and sensitive skin. Currently I use Bliss' the Youth As We Know It Concentrate and the Youth As We Know It Face Cream on top of that. Is this to be used in place of the concentrate and to be followed up with a moisturizer, or is it to be used in place of both products (concentrate and moisturizer)?

I have the same skin type as yourself with the added benefit of Rosecea. I use the gel with moisturizer at night and alone before primer and foundation application in the morning. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

Why is alcohol the 3rd ingredient on the list?

I am fair-skinned, blue eyed with dyed black hair. I was reading reviews on the Jurlique HR Gel, and one of the reviewers brought up a good point: If one of the main focuses of the gel is to hydrate the skin, why is alcohol the THIRD ingredient on the list, when it evaporates and clearly DE-hydrates?

I went straight to our scientists for this one:

The Herbal Recovery Gel formulation contains a large amount of herbal extracts. The solvent used in the herbal extracts is water and alcohol. The alcohol has many functions in the product. It can be used as a preservative to keep the herbal extracts free from microbiological contamination, helps keep the herbs to remain in solution and not precipitate out and also assists in providing a thin film on the skin so when the alcohol evaporates the skin is able to be hydrated by the other ingredients in the Herbal Recovery Gel formulation.
