travel-friendly - no huge bottle - AND it lasts longer, easier to do touch-ups, etc. I would recommend getting the solid over the bottle.

Also, when I purchased this fragrance from Sephora, there was a gift set with a full-size perfume and the solid.... look for that!

To me, the fragrance is the same, true to the perfume, and it is wonderful to be able to touch up during the day without the heaviness of a full bottle or risk of spills. Also it is travel friendly. I own the solid in Cleopatra and Stella.
