It's very cute, no one would suspect it to be a "perfume necklace." But if you're going to buy something worth $30.00, in a necklace-shaped form, of course it's going to be small. It smells really cute, fun, and flirty, but it's not really worth buying for the neck. Just bring perfume in your bag and buy a necklace, it;s better than having so little for so much. It's more for a person who wouldn't splurge on perfume, or else it's gone. It's also a good gift for a birthday... but to apply is more like the way you'd put on perfume, especially in a little bottle. I suggest using your finger because it's pretty small.

However, if you are adventrous, you can buy the perfume and make your own balm. There are articles online, http://www.ehow.com/video_4756065_recipe-solid-perfumes.html but you might want to adjust since you are using perfume and not essential oils. Maybe try just softening beewax and mix perfume into it?

It's only ~1.25in. Or if you do better with comparison, make an "O" by touching tip of your thumb and forefinger, the daisy fit loosely into it (I have normal size women hand).

It is a little less than .5in thick, so you can sorta easily tell it's one of those pendant that opens.

I love the idea of a solid but wish there was an easy way to get the product out of the very small convex container.
