Is this appropriate for....?

This scent is very masculine, very sensual (from a woman's standpoint), and very fresh. I want to get the right fragrance for my boyfriend who is barely 18. Is this scent too masculine, and sophisticated for him? Will it i guess"over power" him? and if this is not the right cologne, can you make a recommendation that is close to this?

Personally I don't find it to be too manly. I really do not care for the woodsy smells...My boyfriend likes them but also loves this. He also wears light blue, polo black, and swears he gets a ton of compliments on the Issey Miyake....

Oh my gosh, of course it would be a wonderful choice. My boyfriend is 18 & when we go to school everyone says he smells amazing. The scent is light, but smells so good. You should totally try it. :) More than likely he'll love it. Good luck! :]

It really depends on what scents he likes and what you want to smell on him. Personally I don't care for this scent at all (as it smells just like ADG), but my bf loves it. It is very powerful (maybe b/c of the musk - I don't like musk scents) and I tend to like the softer smells, like Burberry Touch, Burberry Burberry and D&G Light Blue.

I think this fragrance would be excellent for any man, regardless of age. It is not over powering at all, in my opinion. When I think of cologne for an older, more mature man, I think of spicy colognes.. But this one is very fresh, making it great for all ages.

If you're still on the fence about it, perhaps consider getting the Sephora Favorites Collector's Edition Fragrance Sampler while its still available. It is $75 dollars, and comes with 10-ish deluxe samples (Pour Homme is one of them!) in generous glass bottles (mini replicas of their full size) and it also comes with a voucher for a free full size at a Sephora store.

I would say absolutely not, since I bought Pour Homme last Christmas for my then-17-year-old cousin and he loves it. It gives the brat an air of sophistication, and he smells like a million bucks.

Try a Sephora sampler package---great way to try new scents before deciding on one! We loved this one and it was our ultimate choice, but the novelty of the sampler makes a great gift and great value! We got the the largest bottle in addition to the generous samples of others. Not one of them was awful--just not right for my honey! Hope this helps!

This cologne will be perfect for your boyfriend. It's masculine and sensual but not too strong. My son is 12 and I'm buying him some. It just smells really, really good. Definitely not overpowering. You should try it.

I bought the 1.7oz size of this fragrance this past early July and I have used it a minimum of 5 times per week. It lasted until 2 weeks ago. This is a great buy because the scent itself lasts all day after application.
