I have seen no change in my predominantly dark brown hair. The shampoo just brightens and whitens the grey.

I definitely use iit for that reason. My gray is mostly at the temples. This shampoo helps to pop it. The platinum against the dark is nice.

Nothing will happen to the hair that is not gray. But the gray hair will be silvery shiny white, which will help enhance the overall color of the remaining hair. The overall results will look brighter and shinier.

I don't have any gray hair and have no problem with this shampoo. I have dirty blonde hair with baby blonde highlights. The shampoo lightens up my highlights by taking out the brassiness and does not negatively effect the darker hair.

I use a leave in conditioner. There doesn't seem to be a need to use a conditioner right after.

I do condition afterwards. My experience with the blue shampoos is that they do tend to be a little drying. I use a good quality conditioner after I use this shampoo, and I only use this shampoo once a week. More than that, you can end up with blue hair, temporarily, until it washes out.

Correct brassiness?
Will this shampoo work to correct brassiness caused by highlighting? I have ashy blond hair and my colorist uses blond (non-bleach) and low-lights in my hair. They must have bled at the root because my roots look really brassy from the root to about an inch down. Below that the color looks great. I don't want her to tone it because it will affect the rest of my color that looks great. So I wondered if this product would help at the root?

Yes, this shampoo controls the brassiness. You will see a slight difference with the use, but not much. You will better results with continued use.

Yes, my stylist told me it is gentle toner that will help remove brassiness. But do not use it everyday! It will make your blonde hair have a purple tint.

use phytocitrus hair mask for colored hair. The whitening shampoo is soooooo violet that you should not need a "whitening" conditioner.

I use Shimmer Lights as well. Phytoargent is a bit more drying, and the packaging is dumb! Save your money.

This shampoo with turn it silvery white. But you have to use it for a while before you see the difference. It will not give you results from one day to the other.

Effects on natural hair?
My hair is naturally light brown/dark blonde with natural and a few grown out bleached highlights. I want my all over colour to be much paler and I'm wondering if this shampoo will work on my natural hair as well as the bleached parts.
