I find that two drops are enough to cover the entire face. It all depends on your skin type. Drier skin may need a few more drops.

I use 4 drops, but my skin is on the dry side. I got the smallest bottle, and using 4 drops nightly, it still seems like the bottle is going to last me a long time.

I have oily skin with a couple dry patches around my chin but I use 2-3 all over then add an extra drop for under my eyes and on my dry patches! Haven't broken out from it at all. Just start out with a small amount then you can always add a little more where you feel like your skin needs it!

I usually find that one drop can cover my entire forehead, and two drops for each cheek. There's usually enough left over to cover the upper lip and the chin. Hope this helps!

For dry skin, start at three. For combination or oily skin, one or two drops should be fine. Be sure to massage it into your skin which will help it spread out and absorb.

Yes! This has done WONDERS for my hair. My hair is past my waist but above my tailbone. I put my hair in a ponytail, add 5 drops to my hands, rub them together, and finger comb my pony tail. I do not put the oil anywhere above the ponytail holder because the top of my head gets so oily. I started this routine because my hair was getting tangled so bad but I've not had any problems since using this product and technique! YAY! Take care!

I would make sure to only use a dime sized amount and I wouldn't recommend using this product every day on the hair, once or twice a week is good goal to shoot for!

I have long, thick, straight hair. I use about a half a dropperful from my ears down on damp hair every time I wash it. It doesn't make my hair greasy at all, just strong, healthy, and shiny. I've used both the original Argan oil and the hair serum and I like the oil better than the serum.

I bought this specifically to use in my hair and it's fantastic. I do have very curly, very dry hair so I use quite a bit and all the way from the roots to the ends. If you have greasy or fine hair just a drop or two in the ends shouldn't cause more greasiness.

after washing just use it on the ends, the second day a drop on the ends, it will help, however, in this heat i wash my hair everyday, so i use a drop on the ends everyday, great for the hair......you could use it anywhere on skin and hair....its worth every penny

Yes. I have fine, but chemically processed and very dry ends, so I apply a few drops on my palms, rub them to make the oil warm and then apply the oil to my hair ends, it is magic. My hair feels soft and shines, and not greasy at all.

NO, NO, NO, NO and NO!!!! There is a separate hair oil by Josie Maran, or use the Morocan Oil Brand instead, which unfortunately is not sold at Sephora. However, this is great on cuticles and dry skin. I put this in my hair, and it was greasy, oily and awful.

I was originally introduced to argan oil as something use you use in your hair. I put in on when my hair is wet before I blow dry and straighten it. I'll then put just a little on the ends to help with the damage. It really helps control heat damage. Just keep it away from your scalp to avoid greasyness!

What is the texture of your hair? Is it baby soft and fine or is it textured/coarse? If you have soft/fine hair, you probably don't want to use this as a styling/finishing product. Use it more as a hotoil type treatment for deep conditioning and then wash out (or leave in overnight and then wash out in the morning). If your hair is textured/coarse, then obviously, like any oil sheen or hair oil, you have the type of texture of hair that can use straight oil on it as a finishing/styling product. Use your best judgement, it IS oil! If your hair has the softness of a blonde haired 2nd

Yes, you can use it for your hair. The biggest thing is not to use TOO much product. A few drops in the palm of your hand is all you need. I have very dry hair and can use it from scalp to ends. If you tend to be on the oily side, try just applying to the ends to stave off split ends for a few weeks longer. Hope this helped!

I would say no, although a Sephora employee recommended it for hair, and it says you can use it for split ends on the bottle, I didn't like the product. I have medium/thick texture of hair and it easily makes hair greasy, not to mention it has a weird smell, and traps smells in your hair (smoke, food odors, etc.)

This oil doesn't stop acne, but it does help soothe and moisturize your face after using harsh acne products. It does not cause acne,

Argan Oil does help balance your skin, especially if you are using harsh acne treatments. These tend to dry your skin out, because the alcohols kill all the bacteria on your skin. Try this... I have been doing this and it has worked like a charm. Get some tea tree essential oil, get some cotton balls, and get some Argan oil. First, wash your face with a mild face cleanser, or a natural one. Then, take your cotton ball and make it wet with water (about 5-10 drops). Then drop a couple of drops of tea tree essential oil (make sure it's ESSENTIAL OIL). Gently use the wet cotton ball as your toner all over your acne prone skin. Once that has dried, take a couple of drops of Argan oil and apply it all over your face. I apply extra at nighttime, especially under my eyes. Use this for acne-prone skin, and to keep oily skin balanced. The tea tree is an anti-bacterial which you will be able to feel as soon as it touches your skin. Use it only once a day for normal to dry skin, and no more than twice a day for oily skin.

Argan oil can be incorporated into your anti-acne skin care regimen, but if you have a serious acne problem you really need a multi-pronged approach that includes products with salicylic acid (to clean out pores) and benzoyl peroxide (to kill bacteria). Argan oil can help with acne because it has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties (many acne fighting ingredients can strip your skin of hydration which causes your skin to produce more oil and break out). People with severe acne should of course consult a skin care professional.

I've used proactive, murad, neutrogena and others to try and treat my acne with no results. Argan oil, though, has definitely reduced the number of pimples on my face. It may seem counterintuitive, but using products that strip away your skin's natural oil only causes your skin to produce more oil to compensate. This balances your skin and helps it produce less oil.

I have fair (red head) & sensitive skin which breaks out easily so, I too, had concerns yet I found this product healing. Since it's oil is extracted from the seed of an organically grown tree there may be someone who is sensitive to that plant. However for me, that was the "BIG PLUS" -- an ORGANIC beauty product !!! It may be an "OIL" but it's not oily nor greasy! It absorbs quickly into the skin & only 2 drops were needed (when applied to damp skin) to cover face & neck area.

Its 100% Argan Oil. Check the ingredients. Its pretty clear there is nothing else added. The hair product has added ingredients (such as silicones) and the face spray obviously has added ingredients in it as well.

It is 100% pure argan oil, no mxiers. It has been deodorized to remove the natural smell. To dodorize oil it is heated to 464-518°F for 30 to 60 minutes, so it hs been processed, which may or may not have affected the good natural properties of the oil. Organic natural argan oil has a "nutty" smell, kind of like fresh green greek olives.

If you like to have a dewy glow, use by itself or mix with your current moisturizer. If you like to be matte all day, then you can just use it at night. I use it during the day with my regular moisturizer and at night by itself. I've even got rid of my night eye cream and just use this.

In the morning after I clean my face with a wet face towel, I use the Argan Oil every where I am dry AND under my eyes and shape my brows with a bit. I put on my moisturizer (w/spf) and then I put on my foundation (it goes on so smoothly). My skin looks so fresh, sun-kissed, smooth and flawless all day! This stuff is amazing. At night I use a bit in the same places and put a dab of night cream on. Hope this helps!

Forget tea tree oil.....just use this instead. It doesn't burn and it has almost no scent. Try the small bottle if you don't want to commit to a large purchase. Alternatively, use it over the tea tree oil if you absolutely have to. I would just use tea tree oil as a spot treatment, again if you absolutely have to.

personally, I would think of tea tree as a treatment. Thus, going on before your moisturizer. Make sure your tea tree is diluted because it can be SUPER strong if just using in the essential oil form. I like to put it in a bottle mix a few drop with rose water, then mist all over face after cleansing. After, put Argan oil on where you get driest, if you suffer from acne you tend to have oilier skin, this can be more geared for drier skin types so put it in the drier areas ( around eyes, mouth, nose) then if you need more moisture add to other areas. :-)

I have lightish skin and sometimes I get burned really bad on my cheeks, and also i think the mosquitoes love me. I was just wondering if it helped reduce itchiness, burns and bites.

first of all i dont think any over the counter product is a miracle cure for what sounds like a question you need to ask your doctor or skin specialist...this is very good for the skin, it cant harm it, it is all natural...

I wouldn't use this for sunburn or insect bites. Those are injuries to the skin..you need to treat them as injuries...
Sunburn: Best treatment for that...LIGHT sunburnL Aloe straight from the plant is best....more severe sunburns....check with your Nurse or MD.
Insect bites: Topical antibiotic or cortisone cream...ONLY over-the-counter...UNLESS the insect bite is from a spider or tick and does NOT improve. Some spiders (brown recluse) can case serious injury and are better assessed by your MD or Nurse.

I'm not sure about burns, for that I have found cooled black tea, such as tetley tea works wonders in taking out the sting and redness after a sunburn. As for mosquitoes, I've heard Skin so soft from Avon is amazing. Thankfully, we don't have mosquitoes around here.

i go to the beach alot....i do get sunburns sometimes and it makes my skin feel relieved of the burn. what i do is i take a shower then apply it as soon as is get out of the shower. i use it all the time...totally harmless.

I've been pleased with the results on my sensitive skin. I would highly recommend the oil with sunscreen for your cheeks. As you age, skin will look bad, without fighting sun damage now.

I have really sensitive skin and from what I can tell so far, this oil has really helped any/all of the ailments I've experienced. I don't know about itching like from bug bites, but it definitely soothes burns and the like. It seems to have serious healing qualities... I tried putting it on a cut on my palm today and it stopped it from stinging and already my hand's mobility has increased dramatically. It doesn't hurt to open my hand at all!

I haven't tried the product yet, but I am planning to and I reconmend you to get the travel size no matter what. I did the math and if you buy travel sizes you get more for your money. I think it is saving like 30 cents if you were to buy travel sizes as apposed to the bigger size. However, the jumbo size is better value (a $112 value for $98). So even so, it really isnt that bad to do travel sizes still.

I only needed about 3 drops a night so it lasted me about 2 months. Definitely long enough to decide if you want to invest in the larger size (which I did).

It will last about a week if you only use about twice for hair, and daily for face. Depends on how much you use.... it does not take a lot. Of course, the big bottle is a better deal, but this is a nice travel size!

There is no difference. 100% organic argan oil can be bought elsewhere for the fraction of the price. This one is just sold under Josie Maran's name.

the ingredient list shouldn't be any different. The way it is processed maybe different. You are not going to find argan oil in your local health food store though. I believe within the US it can only be purchased by licensed cosmetologist or resold by companies within the hair/makeup industry for resale.

This has helped me reduce my eye wrinkles with a month usage. Again, see what kind of skin you have. It might be a little to oily for if you have oily skin. For crows feet, you might need to use the back of the spoon to help you smooth out the deep wrinkle, but I really recommend this oil for fine wrinkles. You can even use it on your body. It works miracles. Your hands will look amazing after you put this product. It's not super greasy, and it easily absorbs into your skin.
