The concealer is definitely what you're going to want. The highlighter doesn't really do anything with regards to coverage, it basically is just a really thin thin foundation that has some brightness to it to highlight. I've found that what works best for underneath my eyes is primer, then liquid eye cream (dior has a good one, or even lancome), and then this concealer. I found that this ysl concealer didn't have great coverage by itself, but was great to use last to give that nice finished look.

You kind of do need a highlighter in addition to a concealer if you have really puffy eyes, or dark circles. Once you apply the concealer and let it absorb a little then draw a line with the highlighter directly on the dark crease and under the puffiness, and then blend it slightly with a brush. I find this works best to hide the discoloration and make your eye look smoother and more awake.
