you cant expect one product to cover correctly match your brown spots and the rest of your face - because they are two different colors. i would reccomend concealing the brown spots and then setting with a foudation powder to set the entire look together. you should definitely go in to a sephora store and have someone assist you.
If you are 65 and can use this to cover your spots, I'd have to say you are doing FANTASTIC! It's not a thick foundation for me and I go for the lightest coverage for my foundations. You may want to go down a number or two if you want to go lighter. But I would recommend concealer before foundation, if you want the spots gone. Or you can always find a different foundation with a little more coverage. My mom likes the Lancome one that came out not long ago with the concealer on top of the foundation bottle. It's got visionaire in it and I steal my mom's visionarie sometimes just because it feels so good on your skin. It give more coverage, which is more than I can handle, but that concealer on top is what you really need to try. It covers spots like magic. I have old acne scars and sun spots. Love the outdoors too much. Hope this helps.
