Make-up Forever's liquid foundation is great at covering flaws and looking believable! The color matching is near perfect. Sometimes I blend two colors for a more natural look. It definitely gives a dewy look. As far as dry skin, you should focus on a good moisturizer, allowing it to dry before putting on your make-up. As far as acne, be diligent with you cleansing routine especially washing off your make-up at night to prevent clogged pores. And one of the most important, but looked over steps, clean you make-up brushes at least once a week.

Question
How do these shades compare to the Mat Velvet?
I wear the No. 15- Alabaster in the Mat Velvet foundation but find that it is too heavy. What color of this foundation would match the color of that one?

I'd have to say the HD foundation has a larger variety of undertones than the Matte Velvet. I tried the Matte Velvet in their lightest shade, and what made it so great for my pale skin was the lack of undertone at all. It was, quite literally, white. Even I had to pack on the blush to try to look alive wearing the Matte Velvet. When I switched to the HD, I had a few more options for shades with color that still matched my fair skin.

Try #115, that's a very light shade for pink undertones. If you feel that is TOO light, then you want to give #117 a go.

During the summer I use #117, but during the winter I get a wee bit more paler so I use the #115 in the interim.

For light-medium/medium skin tones I would suggest 123 (yellow undertones); 155 more bronze than 123 but less yellow; and 153 which is darker than 153 and more yellow.

I would recommend 118, it's a neutral shade that I use on a lot of light skin tones. 123, 128, and 153 would also be good colors to get! I work at Sephora and I use these shades most frequently.

Question
Does 123 Desert/153 Golden Honey/173 Amber have TRUE OLIVE UNDERTONES
Does 123 Desert/153 Golden Honey/173 Amber have TRUE OLIVE UNDERTONES? Or are they just regular yellow undertones?
Thank You.

I have shad 153 and I usually use it after I have spray tanned. I would say that it has more of a yellow undertone than a green/gray undertone. I've never tried 123 on my face but have swatched it and it has a yellow undertone as well but not as "bronzed" as 153. I also have 155, which is less yellow and less dark than 153. Hope this helps.

I know 153 has olive under tones. I'm between a yellow and olive so I switch between 153 and 140 which is a yellow undertone.

no fragrance. i am also sensitive to fragrance foundations. though i do find this foundation to be very watery consistency and need to use a lot to get any coverage plus its not long lasting at all. i recommend star fluid foundation by dior. i love it.

This is a tough one. The best thing would be to go through Color IQ during the summer. However, with me, I stay in the medium tone, but my undertone changes (olive in the summer and yellow in the winter/early spring).

I am not a professional, but my best guess is to get Light Beige 3. Your foundation color has a yellow undertone so it should match if that's what you want. I'm assuming Pink Porcelain 1 is a pink undertone that you don't have. However, if you wanted to highlight you could use shades 1 or 3.

I have fair-light skin, not oily or dry, and I use Smashbox primer with this. Both products are very lightweight and you only need a little bit. I think they work really well together; neither has a strong scent. This foundation covers tiny veins around my nose, and I use concealer for dark circles.

Question
I have extremely fair skin, will this match my skin tone?
I have natural dark red hair, therefore an extremely fair complexion. Every drug store foundation, and even the Laura Mecier foundation that I have tried is too dark. How light is the Pink Porcelain, and do you think it will match my skin??

I think pink porcelain would be perfect for you. I'm a natural blonde, with blue eyes and my skin is fair-light. The 115 Ivory matches my skin beautifully. You would probably be just a tad lighter than me, so the pink porcelain would be your shade.

I think it would be a great product to try. I am not super fair skinned but I have problems with everything looking orangy and this has a completely different under tone, so it might help.
