I have light skin with slightly red undertones. I have tried dozens of foundations as it is hard to find a shade that is not too dark but still provide nice coverage. I like the HD (High Definition Foundation). I use shade 118.

Question
Color match: Dior Forever # 030
I know I should go in person, but the closest store is over an hour away and I can't make it in before I leave for vacation.

Using Diorskin Forever # 030, which would be my best color match?

Thanks!

I nearly bought mine online but it was worth it for me to make the trip to the store to find the exact color. The color I chose was a perfect match. If you can't make it to the store, the website describes pretty well the skin tones it will match. Dior#30 is a beige, so if you have beige undertones, just choose the one for light, med, or dark. There's also yellow and red undertones. You have to know the undertones of your skin. If you do order, you can exchange if the color is wrong (I asked a sales associate for myself when I bought it).

Question
Color selection
Hello there...
I'm unsure of the color I need. Does MUFE ever supply samples of this product for your customers?
Range to include: 120, 125, 127 and 128
Hate to pay $40+ for what sounds like a super product only to have to return if Ithe shade is wrong.
Thank you so much,
Maureen

The best solution to your problem is to patronize a Sephora store. The clerks there can help you select the proper shade. Also be aware that you complexion color changes with the seasons so you may need more than one shade.

Question
Photos
I am searching for a foundation that doesn't make me appear lighter in photos due to an interaction with the makeup and the camera flash. Does anyone have experience with what this makeup looks like in photos when a flash is used? Or could you recommend a foundation that doesn't interact with flash and looks just as good in photos as it does in person?

This product works marvelously for photo shoots. It does not alter with flash and is a savior for unexpected blemishes on camera. Good luck! :)

Question
Color comparable to..?
I'm interested in trying this but I do not know which would best match. I've tried Laura Mercier's TM in nude and Stila in 30 watts and it seems to match my skintone. I'm debating the 117, 118, 120.

There are so many different colours, I had a really difficult time choosing because there were about 3 that were really close to my skintone. I went with this one because it looked the most natural, plus I could always add a bronze powder when I tan! I would suggest going into the store, if you can, and just try them out...there are so many to choose from with minor differences!

Definitely save your money and buy Loreal Infallible or their loose mineral foundation. Laura Geller mineral foundation kits are amazing!! You would be so much happier with them. I just got HD MUFE today and feel the ones I listed above were so much better. I'm not going to buy this stuff again.....wish I could send it back. Also, it's great to buy online because you get the great free samples, and a free super sample in the month of your birthday, if you make a purchase. I just got 9 free samples today (I split my order up three ways or maximize my freebies) and shipping is free on every order over $50. It totally easy and shipment is speedy. Good luck!

There is no sephora near me so that means i would have to purchase my makeup over the net. I'm really interested in trying MUFE's HD foundation. I usually wear Chanel's Vitalumiere in Walnut. What color would be best for me in MUFE? Thanks!

I referred to the pictured shade guide and matched closest to my skin tone. Shade number 120 was perfect for me, but remember you can always exchange or return for another shade if needed.

Question
What is the best application for this foundation?
I usally apply liquid foundation with a sponge. I will be doing my own make-up for my wedding and I want my oily skin with a few dry spots plus acne skin to look perfect. I have light skin and normally use ivory in foundation. I've only tried the make-up forever HD powder in a sample and I loved it. I hope that I will love the foundation as well.

i think the best way to use this foundation because it is so light is to use it with a foundation brush and not a sponge. i would recommend something like the 187 brush from MAC. SEPHORA carries the same brush so you can find it in the store as well. it makes the foundation look as if is airbrushed on. thats how i apply this foundation on my face and it looks amazingly flawless and i get a lot of compliments about how smooth my foundation looks.
