answer 1
I have several OPI nail polishes and even more Sephora OPI nail polishes, and I actually find that the Sephora OPI last longer without chipping. I always do OPI chip skip, Sephora OPI base coat, 2 color coats, and a Sephora OPI top coat. My polish job lasts for at least a week without any major chipping or peeling, and I work at a bank, as a teller where I am constantly using my hands and banging my nails around.

Polish is equal as far as I'm concerned. I guess I have to say that.
A friend who writes on another website is going to respond here later with info about her issues with d7. She talked to po lic e who told her to add key words/thoughts in her reviews.Within hours key thoughts given by pol i ce were used in d7 reviews. All your info should be sent to Sephora's legal counsel as quickly as possible. His Sephora info is at Review terms and conditions and then go to RATINGS & REVIEWS and QUESTION & ANSWER TERMS. His name is E ric Bay singer (each name is one word). His email address is copyright at Sephora dot com. It should go to his attention. I saw this elsewhere by some makeup person who is being harassed and copied by d7. The Sephora lawyer deals specifically with stolen info. He needs all the examples you listed and any others you know of.
The Sephora reviewer, Janie something, who wrote the response to d7's initial question about reviewing samples wrote that within a few hours of her posting the answer to d7's question, her reviews were loaded with over 100 not helpful counts. She says it was split over 10 reviews.16 not helpfuls counts for one brush set for example. d7 must have gone right though her reviews like a spoiled child leaving not helpful counts. She writes that there were no counts on anything she had ever reviewed prior to the timel she wrote the response to d7's question. Someone responded that d7 has loaded about 1000 helpful votes on her own (D7)'s account over the past month. I don't know if that is true or not, but someone else is watching closely. That person wrote that she's been copying the totals of d7's votes daily. You should read d7 reviews closely. Many reviews on same item have nothing to do with the item. d7 seems very intent on accusing others of copying. My boyfriend thinks that d7 probably figures that by accusing innocent people of copying her she'll turn the suspicion away from her own activities by placing suspicion on innocent people. She even accused people of not having the items they're reviewing. She mentions them by name..How would she ever know what they own? I wonder if those people know they've been publicly identified by d7 here and on other boards. Doesn't she realize she could be sued for making false accusations if those reviewers have the items? Someone also says that they show that some negative anonymous comments against other reviewers also come from D7 because she left the same comments elsewhere with her name on them.
If you look at d7's history on the question/answer side of the board she's made numerous accusations about reviewers making up fake reviews at least 30 times. On the Sephora Reviews, there are reviews where d7 writes that Sephora is attaching cookies to track anyone leaving her not helpful counts. Imagine stooping so low. If people think Sephora really attaches cookies to their computers, nobody would ever leave any counts for anything. She implies that Sephora is spying on people. Also in her reviews of some lipsticks and polishes, she maily uses the color descriptions from Sephora as if that gives validity to her reviews. Everyone already knows the color descriptions when they read the Sephora description.
I find the normal reviews helpful to me. I wasn't active before because I didn't have time. I have checked reviews before buying. It's too bad d7 is doing all this. Personally, I don't care if people review samples or a full size purchase. Impressions about samples are just as helpful to me. If someone doesn't like a full sized product they're going to stop using it maybe as quickly as they would use a sample up.So there really isn't any difference if their opinion comes from a sample or from a full size product. You can tell if you're going to like a lipstick after the first time, or a mascara, or perfume or anything. It doesn't take a full size purchase to know that. I bet that person hit it right on the nail about d7's fear of people reviewing samples. She probably fears losing her TC status. In a way I feel sorry for her.She must not have much in her life if she's going to such attempts to be a Sephora TC.
I bet Sephora didn't expect this to happen.

Oh my gosh. It gets even worse. She wrote a review for S-OPI Matte "Domestic Goddess" and posted a picture taken from the VampyVarnish blog of S-OPI's "What a Broad". She posted a picture of a completely different color. A normal shiny polish instead of a matte polish. Crazy.
I found out about her picture thievery when I was shopping for NARS Purple Rain polish and while reading reviews I saw pictures from VampyVarnish. I first saw Purple Rain on VampyVarnish so I knew who those pictures truly belonged to. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on debbee7's profile and saw 3 other VampyVanrish pictures posted in her reviews.
I emailed Kelly who runs VampyVarnish and told her about her pictures being used by someone on Sephora. She contacted Sephora and those 4 reviews and pictures were removed.
So I was EVEN MORE SURPRISED when debbee7 posted more pics from VampyVarnish... the wrongfully labeled "Domestic Goddess", as well as S-OPI's "Set the Mood".
That's when I started looking through her non polish pictures and found she was stealing makeup swatch pictures as well. I found 4 examples and emailed Sephora. That was Friday so I'm hoping they will do something about it on Monday.
I can't post URL's or links because of the Q&A guidelines, but I can tell you where the pictures originated.
The picture in her 2/15/10 review of DuWop's Private Red Lipstick is from thenonblonde blog.
The picture in her 2/16/10 review for Dashing Diva Design Nails on the Go - French Hearts is from an article written by Barbara Baker on the lifelovebeauty website.
The picture in her 2/9/10 review for Guerlain Ombre Eclat Mono Eyeshadow is from the pinkwanda blog.
She took pictures from the temptalia website for her reviews of :
Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadow on 1/31/10,
Tarte Flower Child Natural Eyeshadow Palette on 1/26/10,
Yves Saint Laurent Golden Garnet GLoss on 1/26/10.
I found all of these pictures in about 10 minutes using Google search - Images.
I'm sure there's more, but I stopped looking after finding all those because I figured that should be enough proof for Sephora to take some kiind of action.
I hope that helps!

Thanks for the info. I don't know if you can share your sources but it would be good to have.Ithink she targeted a friend last fall.Look at the Question in this question and answer section entitled "What do you think about Sephora's upcoming changes?"That comes from her.The person who responded to the question states d7 has made up all sorts of other info. You might want to forward that information to Sephora as well.Seems she's made quite a few enemies. There was also a comment somewhere else about how she loaded her helpful ratings by over 1,000 votes in the past few weeks.Somebody on some other board is tracking her also.Person on other board writes that d7 copies from her.I saw in a few of db7's comments where she claims that Sephora is tracking anyone who leaves her nonhelpful votes which is hogwash. You should read the response from others to her comments. She's skewing the ratings with many comments about the same thing.Interesting reading.

Thanks for answering about the OPI vs S-OPI's. There are some great colors in the S-OPI line and I will try a few now and hope they last just like the regular OPI.
That user is taking photos from other beauty and nail blogs and posting them here as her own. I emailed Sephora with 4 examples all from different blogs so hopefully they will do something about it. Even the reviews she posted were copied almost word for word from the other blogs. It really detracts from the whole review process.
Thanks for your answers!

I've used both.Equally as good. Can't speak about exact formula since not a chemist. but like them both equally. That person is all over the boards.Something about not wanting people to review samples. How do you know the pictures aren't her's?I just looked at something else where she had made a review.Four out of 14 were her's on the exact same thing.Since she was probably making it up, she didn't even remember to give the same amount of stars each time.Dishonesty like that changes the average on the stars the product gets making products average out better or worse.Sad.I just want opinions.Don't want to be played with by her.As for polish, personally think both are as good.Probably the same thing in different bottles. My sister has tons from Sephora. She buys top of the line makeup. Perfectly satisfied with this so it must be good.
