Questions & Answers for SEPHORA by OPI Gel Nail Pads

Question
Is the acetone built-in?
Is the nail polish remover (or acetone) already BUILT-IN on the pads? or are these just overprice cotton square pads?

The ones sold in stores (pharmacies, walmart, etc.) sell these pads for about $2...but the ACETONE is ALREADY included, which makes it like an "ACETONE PAD"

No, these pads are not pre-soaked with polish remover. They aren't even cotton pads. They aren't even pads. They are thin squares of plain fabric. That's it.

The do not have remover on them but they are a good value in my mind because you don't get any fuzzy parts left behind and you only need one per hand. The ones in the drug store that have the acetone in them I actually hate because one may do both hands but most of the time they don't remove everything and redeposit glitter or color onto your other nails after you remove one.

No, there is no polish remover on the pads already. They are really thin and have a super scrubby texture. They really are awesome, and they don't leave behind any lint. I used them with the Sephora polish remover, and I only needed two squares for all ten toes. The thinness also makes them great for wrapping around a stick to remove stray polish.

Question
How many nails can 1 pad remove?
The ones at drugstore sell these for $2 (6 pads). Their 1 pad removes all 10 nails. I'd think it's too good to be true if you actually get 150 pads for only $6, unless 1 pad can only remove one nail (or if u need several pads to remove nailpolish, from only one nail)

I got one pad per nail last night. I was removing red nail polish, and I wasn't able to re-use pads at all.

I only need one for each hand, even when removing thick applications and dark or red based colors.

That depends on how much remover you add! Note that these are pads ONLY - not pads with remover on them.

I had to keep remoistening the pad to get nail polish off of one nail. It took about two pads per nail.

I used two pads for all ten toes. I also got mine half off here at sephora. I really do love them though.

answer 6
It might depend on the strength of the nail polish remover but I needed about 2 to remove polish from 1 fingernail. I also had to remoisten the pad with remover in order to only utilize 1 pad.

Hope this helps!
