It actually gives a very matte finish after applying. It will not make deeper scars disappear, but definitely helps to minimize appearance. As far as I'm concerned, every little bit helps! :)

I'm not sure what it will do for acne scars, but when I use it on my deep forehead creases they disapear! And yes, it blends with the surrounding skin for a nice matte, smooth finish. For the price I would say it's worth the try!

Not sure what 'ice pick' scar means but this is a decent product to fill indentations a bit. It's clear and blends with your own skin tone. This item is not putty or going to transform your face. It's just thicker and a bit smoother than most translucent foundation primers.

this product will blend in with your skin tone and fill in the scar like spackle. If you rub at it too much it will probably move around but patting it in the area and lightly covering with foundation should do the trick in my opinion

I've tried it both before and after and it works both ways. Probably better as a before makeup primer, since I'm sure that's how it was designed, but you can also use for quick touchups over makeup later. Just pat on a small amount and cover with whatever powder you're using.

I think it really depend on what kind of foundation you are using. I use mineral make-up and I will either dab a bit of that on first with a concealer brush and then use the filler. I have ALSO used it after but with a very light touch otherwise I find it removes my foundation. I would recommend using it all by itself!

I moisturize my entire face first. I use this sparingly, mostly around my eyes. Barely tap your fingertip on top, then dab onto lines you want to cover. You can then apply makeup as usual over this. The little jar should last over a month even while using on a daily basis.

put on moisturizer first, then this, then make up but press lightly... gives a great not reflecting matte appearance too... i use this on my forehead... one tip is put your mascara on first then this because the fine lines show up again if you scrunch your forehead too long...

moisturize first, overall primer next. I have applied either way over and under makeup depending on how the beauty application is going any particular day. Hint for better blend, add a touch of liquid concealor or makeup to a small dap of the filler in the lid of the jar and then apply with a lip brush. I am using this around my mouth and finding its helped greatly reduce the lines. It seems a bit heavy to use as an all over primer.

I cleanse my face every morning even though I cleanse it every night. Let it dry. Apply moisturizer. Let it dry. I usually apply my liquid eye shadow. I then apply the primer. Love it. Let it dry. I usually apply my eyeliner. Then I apply a dot of the filler. Then I will apply my foundation. I take my time and gently use my ring fingers or a foundation brush to apply the foundation. Then I go over the area where I applied the wrinkler filler. This is more of a light dab. If I need more foundation, it is a tiny bit. Less is always more. I earned every line. But this makes it less noticible.

YES!! If you are looking for an instant fix. But I wouldn't say it will treat those wrinkles in a "wrinkle cream" kind of way-ie once it's washed off it's effect is lost. I use these right in the same area you are asking about-it totally softens the lines and even helps my lipstick to not bleed into those lines. The trick is to not use too much-just a tiny dab on your fingertip will do--and quickly and lightly rub it back and forth over your lines and you will see them soften immediately!

I think this will. While I purchased specifically for the pores on my nose I do use it on my fine lines around the eyes. BUT...if your lines are "deep" it may not completely fill them in but definately "soften" them. Good luck!

It's not a miracle in a jar. It will not make deeper lines go away. But finer lines do seem to disappear. While it won't make you look perfect, it WILL make you look better! Does give a softer, smoother appearance. And hey, every little bit helps! ;)

This is gel & silicone, not oil. I suffered with acne most of my life & have never had a problem with this product. When you apply it, it feels very oily & slippery, but that's just the silicone. A primer is something that "primes" your skin for makeup. I use this for double duty...as a primer and a pore filler. I would think that if you used this AND a primer it would be too much on the skin. Go into Sephora's and try it!

Yes! I use it under my eyes, but be careful not to use too much -- I find when I apply powder or blush, it can leave patches (making it completely obvious where the product has been). It also can flake off if you use another product over it. I try to use a *minimal* amount of this, and to apply the rest of my makeup very lightly, and it works well.
