I've used a few different brands and these are by far the most preferred. They are slightly bigger than the film sheets and these seem to absorb more oil. They are best compared to the texture of toilet seat covers, as funny as it sounds. They are essentially the same thing, just with added vitamins and cut/displayed in a thin portable box.

Not like the C&C version. The Sephora brand is paper based.

These are a paper instead of a film. I have used the brand you mentioned earlier and I personally prefer the paper.

These sheets are paper, not film. I feel like the film is not as absorbent as the paper.

These are absolutely amazing for absorbing any excess oils. I wish I had these when I played tennis in school. They're quick and don't disrupt your make up.

If you blot CORRECTLY, it shouldn't. I've seen women wipe their face with these. That's not blotting and that will smear or take off your makeup. You have to blot, not wipe.

They do not strip away makeup or interfere with makeup if you use the plain ones without the powder. I find the powdered ones in any brand interfere with my makeup. These are thin so not noticeable when you use them and this makes blotting quicker.

I've found that I really need to re-powder to gain back my coverage when I use these and I usaully use these in the middle of an un-phycially active work day. Then again I have super oily skin so makeup just melts off me no matter what I do. It did not however take off my eye shadow when ever I blot to get rid of some of the shinny on my eye lids but I do use a primer. Try it! If it doesn't work out return it. Best part of sephora.

Oh no!! The only thing the sheets pick up is the oil and sweat from your face. However, if you rub the sheet across your face instead of blotting the sheets, it will mess up your make up!

I have not had these mess up my makeup at all. Remember they are called "BLOTTING" papers. Not rubbing papers! I would assume if you rub these on your face, your makeup may smear or get messed up. If you blot carefully you shouldn't have a problem!

No, I have really oily skin when it's humid and at night when I'm out partying, but with one dab it picks up all my oil without taking off any makeup.

Boscia is def. a better brand of blotting papers

I've used Boscia and I feel like the Sephora blotting sheets are more absorbent. I had used the Green Tea from Boscia. They seemed too thick to absorb well. I much prefer Sephora, which is why I keep buying them.

And I have oily skin with mild adult acne.

I used both. The Boscia ones are just more expensive. Years ago there was a difference in blotting papers, now not so much.

They're not as good as the Boscia linens. I had to get these instead of Boscia as my dad was pushing me out of the store already, but I almost wish I hadn't even gotten these.

I have sorta oily skin & I've used both, and i prefer Sephora's papers. Size is about the same, but I think they absorb more... a few hours into my day i get shiny & with Boscia i had to use like 5 papers, but with Sephora I only need to use 2. The Lavender smells nice, and i like the vitamin c +e ones, they're nice!

The Boscia are my favorites, but these were cheaper and I decided to try them. They work fine, but I will go back to the Boscia when they are gone.

Two girls at the store told me that these were even better than the Boscia ones. They're cheaper too. The lavender scent is my ABSOLUTE favorite. You smell it on you for hours and it feels great in the summer.

I've tried both and think these Sephora papers absorb more/better than the Boscia sheets. But I continue to use both, depending on which is the better deal at the time.

The tea tree oil ones have a medicinal smell. I love the lavender ones!

I just purchased the Holiday peppermint scent. It's fun, but I found it irritated my eyes. Not to the point where I couldn't finish using the pack, but I won't buy a scented pack again.

The scent is very subtle. I can barely smell the tea tree oil in the ones that I use.

I chose between the two based on the properties of the oil they use. I chose the tea tree oil sheets because of this oil's natural antimicrobial properties. Lavender oil is a good choice if you need an ingredient that offers calming properties for red or irritated skin.

I like the tea tree the best. The lavender is super floral and kind of soapy smelling. The vitamins smell weird at first, but the scent fades quickly.

If you're interested in unscented, I'd actually recommend the vitamin. They're twice the size of the unscented (for the same price!), and once you remove the cellophane wrap, you'll get unscented papers within a week.

I love the lavander, it has a very sweet smell and leaves my face smoth.

Lavender smells very nice. Unless you like the smell of green tea, then get that one. I've tried the original. lav, and am currently using the green tea. Will prob go back to lav.

Boscia and the Sephora brand both have 100 sheets per package. I've tried both brands and prefer Boscia hands down. The Boscia sheets are thinner and seem to absorb oil more easily and completely. The Boscia sheets are an absolute beauty essential for my oily skin.

i don't have an exact area calculated to measure sizes between boscia's or sephora's. sephora's is more square while boscia's is more rectangular. i actually like sephora's packaging better; seems more sturdy than boscia's. sephora's blotting papers are also a bit thicker than boscia's too

The picture online is deceiving. The package I received is almost square: 3.25"(w) x 2.9"(h). The Boscia sheets are rectangular and measure 3.5"(w) x 2.25" (h).

they are square and a bit bigger then boscia, but they are stiff and not as comfortable to use. i've used two sheets of boscia and never had to do that with the sephora brand. there are pros and cons to each, its worth trying to see which you like better.

Sephora's are slightly smaller. I like both equally. They're different, though. You might want to check them both out in person before buying, or try one brand the first time, and then the other, the second.

The Sephora blotting papers seemed a little smaller than the Boscia paper. I prefer the Boscia papers overall. If you are a heavy user of blotting papers, then the cheaper one would probably be the 'better buy'.

They are about half the size, and a completely different consistency. These are more paper-like, whereas the Boscia ones are that smooth wrapping-paper like texture.

For the Sephora Natural Tea Tree Blotting Papers:

Ingredients for blotting papers with vitamin C & E:

The primary ingredients in all four types are the same: bleached kraft softwood pulp, hemp pulp, and calcium carbonate. Additional ingredients vary depending upon which type you get. The ingredients for the lavender and tea tree papers do list essential oils. I'm guessing that they have low levels, though, because the absorbency of the papers doesn't differ from the natural or vitamin c+e. The ingredient list for the vitamin c + e just has the vitamins listed; there's no indication of what form they come in.
