I'm in the same position! I had the tinted moisturizer, and it's time for more. I loved it! Some days I would just where that! Her products seem to have a good reputation. They have counters in some dept. stores too. The moisturizer is 45, so why not for an extra 15 bucks, try out 6 other products. I think it's a great buy! I'm am ordering tonight! I hope this helps!

First of all the price of this is amazing! You get a great deal, with everything especially with the brushes. But a good alternative is the makeup forever hd foundation set.

Well, I tried some other tinted moisturizers that I really like. I don't know if they are cheaper, but I love, love, love Brite Prep FX Brightening Foundation Primer with SPF 50. After I put that on, I use my shade of Bare Minerals Powder foundation, and it goes on like an airbrushed look, plus you are getting SPF 50!! The other brand I like is Make Up Forever Professional Lift concealer. It comes in different shades, and, again, I put Bare Minerals over that, as well, or you can wear it alone. It is a fabulous product, but I think it is expensive and it is also smaller in size than the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, .05 oz, but it is truely a professional product that won't disappoint. Also, check out Smashbox. I haven't had the chance to try them, but they might be a bit cheaper. In the summer, I live in AZ, I'm going to try using the FX Brite Prep primer, just because it has an incredible SPF of 50, and the sun is the real damage causer of all skin concerns. Try looking into all of Sephora's sale items, too. With the economy, the prices can go down on some of your favorite brands. I hope I have helped you, God Bless.

It is an excellent value, and excellent quality. I also like Hourglass TM, which has alot more coverage (but you don't need to set it or use any primer). This allows my natural skin to show through more though - very natural product = if your skin looks good to begin with it will give you a finish that is pretty
