No real scent... just a clean smell. Probably unscented to be safer for sensitive skin.

I actually had this exact same question so I decided to do some investigating for the both of us. I believe that this product (or one very similar to it) appeared on the Sephora website not too long ago under the name of "Vita-Mineral Day Cream", and was in slightly different packaging, and was priced at $54 (which kind of annoys me because I bought it for that much only to find this version of it for only $46 literally under three weeks later - but I digress). Anyway, this other product (the Vita-Mineral Day Cream) also appears on the REN website (renskincare.com). Both that product and this one currently featured here appear to be nearly identical as the ingredients are almost exactly the same. I am currently using the Vita-Mineral Day Cream that I purchased and I do like it, though I'm not sure it's quite my HG moisturizer. To answer your second question about the scent, I will reiterate what others here have reported and confirm that yes, it does smell faintly but noticeably like roses, but the smell does not last and is definitely not unpleasant. I hope that helps you out!

I don't know about the name, but there is a slight rose smell, but it doesn't last at all. As soon as the cream is massaged in, it's over.

It does have a very light, pleasant rosy scent. Not sure if it went by another name, as I'm very new to the whole beauty product game.

Not at all. My skin is SUPER prone to clogging and that turns to acne. You dont have to worry about that with this product. Try it. It will absorb immediately and it will be just the amount your skin needs (1-2 pumps). Also, if i were you i would use this day and night - the least you do to your skin, the least products and ingredients you use, the better.

It doesn't clog my pores at all. I use it once in the morning and before I go to bed. Try to avoid touching your face at night after using it. :)

I have acne prone skin, and I used this during winters when I was getting quite dry in patches. It did not make me break out. It did make my skin feel comfortable and hydrated-though when I used it in Spring, it made me a bit..shiny by the end of day. However, everyone is different and the only way you are going to know for sure is trying a sample.

Question
Is this greasy?
I have ultra sensitive combination skin with an oily t-zone prone to breakouts on my forehead and normal to dry skin that never breaks out everywhere else, and I'm looking for a holy grail moisturizer that will absorb into my skin without sitting on top. This has oils in it, and I'm not afraid of oils breaking me out (they are balancing and soothing for me as long as I don't use them in excess!), but is this too greasy? Will it sit on top of my skin? I don't mind if it ends up dewy after more than 3 hours or so.

really light and non greasy ... does not sit on to p of your skin. Actually absorbs very very fast BUT locks the moisture in for many hours.

It's not greasy. It absorbs quickly. But you will find that you get oily very quickly after that. However it leaves your skin very beautiful widen you use it so I have been using it as a night cream instead.

A pea size amount is all you need for the full day. This moisturizer is very rich and spreads easily. It's a great value for the price!
