For a moisturizer with this I love Clinique moisture surge because like the cleanser it's light and refreshing. For sunscreen I'd highly recommend "Clarins 50+ SPF Sunscreen For Face Wrinkle Control Cream" and "Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream + Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ For Face". Both of these sun screens are not oily and do not cause you to breakout.

I would recommend Clarins. It is a very high quality product that has a large selection of skin and facial products for almost every skin type. Their products are botanical/plant base and smell great. I love them also. I do use them and have had great results with them.

I'm assuming that if you are using this product you have normal/oily skin which means you don't need to add a ton of extra moisture to your face. One of my favorite moisturizers is DDF Ultra Lite Oil Free Moisturizing Dew. It is super light weight gel and goes on smoothly. DDF aslo has a formula of this moisturizer with SPF in it, if you are looking for protection. I have been using the moisturizer for years and it is still my go to for a touch of hydration. Hope this helps and good luck!

I use Murad Oil-free sunblock SPF 30 in the morning and boscia oil-free nightly hydration at night. I would say find something you like that your face feels comfortable for a few hours after you apply that product. This regimen does that for me.

Anything in your current skincare arsenal should do the trick. With skincare, sometimes it is not the combination of products, but what works with the individual's skin chemistry. Best of luck!

I use Dr. Brandt Blemishes No More moisturizer - it moisturzes without feeling heavy or sticky, and without making me break out. It smells a little funky, but I got used to it after a couple of weeks.

For sensitive skin use DDF moisturizing dew. For SPF, get the one with SPF 15 OR get a mild tinted spf, like eltaMD or something. FOr a spot treatment I would use clearasil or some form of benzyl peroxide sparingly for mild acne.

I use the Philosophy Acne Set, the one with the retynol cream and it has worked wonders...just don't use the Purity foaming face wash I've found it to be overly drying...Incredible since I have a very oily T-zone. Just don't forget to use sunscreen, the Peter Thomas Roth brush on it's great.

It doesn't say directly that it is oil free but I didn't see any oils on the ingredient list on the actual box! The ingredients listed on the Sephora site actually differ from what is on the actual box the product comes in.

This is a new formula packaged in a very similar format to the old formula. The old formula smelled less perfume-y and didn't suds up as much. I like both versions, and this one seems to leave my skin very soft to the touch.

Has this returned to the original formula?
I read many reviews saying that the formula for this had changed, and then the product was out of stock for several months. Is this now (9/26/12) the same formula as it was previously?

I ordered 2 bottles after it has been out of stock, and received what I thought was the wrong product. I was disappointed to find out Clarisonic changed the formula and the foaming refreshing gel is not the same.

I am not certain. However I received the Clarisonic as a gift in May of 2012. In the package the manufacturer enclosed a small tube of the cleanser. I used the small sample and when I finished using it I purchase a full size tube of the facial wash. I love it and have not had any problems with it. My personal experience has been very positive.

I've used both and honestly I don't see too much of a difference between them, especially if you're using other acne treatments. I stick with this cleanser and then use spot-treatments with salicylic acid to take care of any blemishes without over-drying my entire face.

I found this cleanser to dry my skin out. I have combo dry/normal sensitive skin, with oily flares. It gave a tight feeling and flakes around nose. I'm thinking the willow bark extract in it is too much. Normally I don't have any problems with cleansers for normal/oily skin.

You can certainly use it with dry skin, in fact I'd recommend it because it's so gentle that it won't irritate your dry skin. Follow with moisturizer and you'll feel amazing! I use Clinique Moisture Surge because it's light, soaks into my skin well and does not leave a film on my skin. It's worth mentioning that as an avid snowboarder I spend a lot of time in the freezing wind and cold and this regimen worked perfect for me all winter!

I bought this last fall and it came in a blue tube (bought online). I didn't like it so I haven't bought anymore to know if they changed the color of the tube... but, does it really matter what color of tube it comes in? It is going to be the same product in either color tube. :)

I would definitely use a toner . My skin is acne prone and I use Revision skincare soothing facial rinse. It is a toner and just need to put some on a cotton square and gently wipe your face and neck with it and let it dry. It says facial rinse but there is no rinsing needed. It is just how they have named the toner. It takes away that tightness that comes after washing the face and adjusts the ph level. I did not use a toner in the beginning and then got a sample of this toner and after using it realized what a difference it made. My skin feels so comfortable and soft after I apply this.

It might depend what brushhead you were using. Myself, I've used this gel with the Acne brush, and followed with Clinique's anti-acne toner (can't recall the name; "acne solutions," maybe?). I generally have sensitive skin, but I was okay. Follow with some good moisturizer, obviously.
