I still use my moisturizer. This, for me, is a nice refresher to use during the day. My skin tends to be a bit on the oily side and I still need the moisturizer.

I use it whenever I feel like it over makeup. It won't do the same think a moisturizer does. But. My dermatologist approves of product, and she is anti-moisturizers:). It hydrates. You can feel it for awhile after spritzing.
Personally I would rather use this than a moisturizer that may break me out .

I'd hesitate to "replace" (esp. if dry skin or sunscreen are among your concerns) but I definitely advocate using this and then applying only a tiny bit of moisturizer over it--since your skin is dewy the moisturizer spreads better--thus a tiny drop of moisturizer is more than adequate.

FYI, this can also go over make-up, no problem.

You would not use this in place of your normal moisturizer, but in addition to....spray first and then apply your product....you will find that you use less applying to moist skin & you will have a better level of hydration.

This is just mineral water, the reason why it's so expensive is because people are stupid enough to believe there is something special and refreshing about it (of course because it's WATER). If you want to find a good makeup setting spray, you can buy ones that actually work from Make Up Forever, Urban Decay, or Skindinavia.

Can't explain the chemistry. Will tell you that I used this spray years ago. Carried it to work and spritzed over full make up..including liquid foundation. It did not cause mu to run. Now I use it over sunscreen. I don't know about the 'setting' properties. In my experience it simply cools and refreshes.

its a light mist of water so if you spray it on ur face after ur makeup is done it doesnt wash ur makeup away but just takes away the powdery finish that some setting powders and or pressed or loose powders leave behind. all it is a evian water but it does last a long time. this huge can lasts me all season set up on my vanity.. i use it everyday! n i use the little ones on the go at work or after the club.. just to refresh! hope this helps!

If you're using a night cream I would assume you have dry skin this spray provides very minimal moisture it's more for adding moisture after you've used a moisturizer. I use it throughout the day to keep my make up from getting too powdery or cakey and to add some moisture it doesn't take the place of my moisturizer which I apply in the morning before my primer and BB

I wouldn't think this product replaces your night cream, but it sure does revitalizes it. I do prefer to spray myself in the morning, especially because I'm starting my day and around noon time...I'm thinking of getting an extra bottle to keep in my drawer at work.

We do not suggest that you use the Evian Mineral Water Spray in place of your night cream or moisturizer. Think of this more as a hydrating, refreshing toner. Mist onto the skin when you feel dehydrated or want to refresh your complexion (or to cool it down in hot weather), but it is important that you also use a daily sunscreen as well as a nighttime moisturizer. You can certainly apply this prior to your moisturizer as a toner.

Pretty sure TSA guidelines still prohibit any aerosols on planes--whether checked or carry-on. I had to throw out my 1 oz of spray Lysol the last time I flew. Better stick with regular moisturizers under 3oz when you're on the plane.

I travel with the small cans and have never had an issue with them not working properly. I will caution that if you are flying for an extended period you may need to apply moisturizer after spraying to keep from getting dehydrated....most of the evian will evaporate if you don't have a product to put over top and bind to the skin.

Question
Is this suitable for NOT just sensitive, BUT hypersensitive skin?
I currently use another brand that's expensive...in which the brand itself is especially made for sensitive skin...and that brand does what it says to treat irritation (and especially redness as well for me) and works in just a few seconds! So, I was wondering if this works the same for those that had tried it who happen to also have sensitive skin just like I do too?

I have combination skin, my T zone gets oily and cheeks can get pretty dry. This product is very light and absorbs quickly and doesn't make my T zone anymore oily and make make up application any different but it's a very light mist, I like it for freshening my make up, keeping from getting powdery or cakey and adding some moisture but it does not take the place of a moisturizer especially if you have dry skin.

As we do not offer MAC, we are unable to compare this with MAC's Fix +. However, the Mineral Water Spray works for all skin types including oily. Oily skin types also experience dehydration as well, therefore this will help rehydrate the skin. Which in turn makeup looks even fresher.
