Your hair can have too much protein. Protein strengthens the hair, that's true, but too much of something tends to be bad. Protein strengthens your hair, but in return, it takes away some of the elasticity. So you need to find a balance, like every time you use a protein treatment, follow up with a moisturizing treatment to restore elasticity.
If your hair is very damaged then maybe try this every time you shampoo and see if you have breakage if so, moisturize and try it again after a week of so. Sometimes you only need to use a protein treatment every week, 2 weeks, or month depending on how damaged your hair is.

Can you give your hair too much protein? Considering I was told protein strengthens hair I wouldn't think so! Protein is good for the hair so using it everyday is most certainly not a bad thing.

My hair is long and straight and I typically use products for colored treated hair because they are gentle. I think this would be good for you.

Question
Is this product good for black people hair?
My hair hasn't been the same since hurricane katrina, I know it's due to stress not to mention some bad hair stylist. My hair is shedding, breaking in the back and it won't grow long in the back and it won't hold curls for more than 3 days. Also my 17 old daughter hair is experiencing breakage as well. Is this product good for the both of us and what

Question
This shampoo and conditioner or the curls one for my beachy curl permed hair?
I have a perm, its a gentle curl think miley cyrus, and I don't know if the curl shampoo and conditioner would be better for me or this shampoo and conditioner since the perm did damage my hair. Or maybe one of each. Any opinions?

I would stick with this since the perm likely damaged your hair.
