Some vitamins do not agree with whatever else you may be taking because the active ingridients in your medication may be in a higher dosage that if you add more to it it will cause you to have an upset stomach, your skin may get worse, or you can even OD(Yes you can OD on vitamins). Be careful with Zinc, and vitamin D. You may even want to ask your dermatologist that provided the medication they should know what not to take with it. It doesnt mean you can not take vitamins, you should take them they are good for you, just not certain ones mixed with medication.

They have a lot of the same vitamins in them. Its best to pinpoint your skin problem. Take Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Omega 3 fish oil, and Vitamin E. If you have acne or break out easily add zinc to that mix. If you notice this products ratings have a lot of complaints on upset stomachs etc. if this is a problem for you avoid taking the evening primrose oil , the ALA, and DMAE. And Zinc you need to be careful with because it can cause dizziness, etc. but if you do not exceed 100 miligrams you should be fine

Question
Do you have to chew some of them? Or do you just swallow them all?
Some of them looks like one of those chewable vitamins. I just swallow them all, but I'm just making sure if I am taking them correctly.

I swallow them all and assume that's what you're supposed to do. They seem like they would be disgusting if you chewed them! :)

My daughter tried quite a variety of vitamins, including B complexes, C and Omega-3, before I sent the Perricone supplements to her. None of them helped with her adult acne. We have spent a lot of money on acne products and these supplements are the first time she has gotten good results.

I ahve found that it stays in your system for a few days and even weeks, so I have not broken out immediately after a lapse in taking them. My diet in addition really determines how clear my skin is and when I deviate from the anti inflamatory diet I definitely see a change (slight breakouts).

Question
Is it ok to take these with the skin & total body supplement from Perricone
I've been looking for a multi vitamin that can also help with acne, but looking at the nutritional info this seems to be missing vitamin A and a few minerals. I've heard that its dangerous to take to high of a dose of certain vitamins so I'm wondering if its ok to take this with another multi vitamin to get everything I need but still be safe.

I have tried these Skin Clear Supplements as well as the Skin & Total Body Supplements at different times for a period of 2 months each. The Skin Clear does help to clear your skin, assuming that you are excercising regularly and eating relatively healthy. The Skin & Total Body is a more complete supplement and it does what it says as well.

However, I wouldn't advise taking both at the same time simply because it would be an overload of certain vitamins causing a disturbance in your body's homeostasis and thus potentially seeing a decline in your skin's appearance. I would suggest taking the Skin & Total Body for a month because it includes EPA and DHA fatty acids which are truly essential for many bodily functions. The Skin Clear lacks these two important ones, but of course, you could always add the Omega 3's that Dr. Perricone sells. Hope this helps!
