For me, I use the Red Tea at night and the Vitamin C during the day. I've noticed a huge improvement in my skin in the 2 months I've been using these products together. Getting it all isn't cheap, that's for sure, but it's worth it.

Will it work for hyperpigmentation?
I loved the sample I got of this, as I looked radiant when I used this, but I'm not sure if it would help in the long run with the hyperpigmentation I have from past acne. Whatta ya think?

No, it does not work on scars. You need a special creme formulated to reduce scaring.

Question
Is this moisturizing?
I was using a sample of Lancome Genefique serum and I really like it, but it's really expensive, but so is this, but this it a title cheaper. Lancome was really moisturizing. I didn't even need another moisturizer afterwards, and I use drying products for acne. Anyway, is this stuff pretty moisturizing? If not, what do you recommend to brighten and even out skin tone, while moisturizing? I'd prefer a serum.

I would use this after you put on your acne product and then use a lotion on top of this. That's what I do and my skin is so much better.

My skin feels very soft since I received this as a sample then went on to buy the full size bottle. I cleanse in the morning then apply the serum and it lasts all day.....then I cleanse at night and reapply.....I love this stuff!!

I originally bought Lanome Genefique and was so disappointed I returned it and bought this product - so glad I did! I have very dry skin and I use this alone at night. It is very soothing to skin, try it!

Yes! And it also has improved my skin and it's not near as oily anymore. I love this stuff and I never thought I would stop using Estee Lauder but I have and completely switched to this line by Ole. The strong orange smell disappears after a few minutes.

Question
Absorption time?
Hi, I plan to use this product as part of a regimen. After cleansing and toning, in the following order, I want to apply the serum, the Sheer Transformation product, and then the Ole Henriksen Herbal Day Creme. Does the serum take time to absorb, before I apply the sheer transformation product?

I have used this for only 2 nights, but have noticed that I don't need much to get smooth, even coverage over my entire face. This product is so great that I would forego cost-effectiveness because of the results I get, but I don't think this will be an issue anyway.

I only have a small sample packet that i've been using every day, sometimes only at night. so far i've used a little less than half of the packet after two weeks. the packet only has 0.10oz in it... so i think the actual container would be pretty long lasting

Question
Red Tea Serum vs Night Gel?
I'm new to looking into the Ole Henriksen world, and as a young, single grad student, I tend to be on somewhat of a budget. So, I'm asking all to weigh in on the African Red Tea Serum vs the Invigorating Night Gel. I tried the gel as a sample and love how firm and soft my skin was feeling as a result, but it seems the serum claims to do a lot of the same things the gel does. Has anyone used both? Can anyone recommend one over the other?

I own both and they actually do totally different things! Yes they both claim to diminish fine lines and such but I use the night gel where I have pores and little bumps since it has AHA that will slough dead skin. red tea serum is very moisturizing and rich, so it's more like cream or night lotion. i actually like putting thin layer of night gel than putting tea serum. I would go for gel if you have occasional break outs and need some exfoliation, and go for red tea serum if you need moisturizer/antiaging product.

YES! I would recommend this product for acne prone skin. It has slowed oil production in my face so well that I bought some for my 11 yr old granddaughter and it is helping keep her face clear. It seems to moisturize just perfectly so that my skin does not become oily after I cleanse it. Wonderful product, now I want the whole line!

Some of the reviews say that it's worked well for acne-prone skin, but this serum made me break out really badly! I think maybe if you're acne-prone but tend toward drier combination skin it might work fine. If your skin is oily like mine probably not.

Question
Okay to use See the Difference w/ Rosacea?
I am 42 and going through some laser treatment for broken vessel removal due to rosacea. I also have wrinkles around my mouth and eyes. Is this serum appropriate for use with my type of skin? I don't want to use anything harsh, but I do like the smell and feel of this item. I would like to hear from anybody with similar issues.

In my opinion you will be amazed by the African Red Tea See The Difference Serum. I could not be any happier with the product for hydrating my skin into looking years younger. I use one pump at night only to stretch the contents a bit further. Hope this helps.
