it's a personal preference, of course once you try both ways you'll know what you feel more comfortable with.

I've personally been liking applying 1 pump to my whole face with my hands, then 1 pump on my clarisonic brush head. but dont be mistaken 1 pump is perfectly sufficient for cleaning your whole face!

I like to add a little bit to the brush then work on one side of the cheek. Then squirt a little more on the brush again and work on the other cheek. Then I will use the brush to spread the cleanser up to the nose & forehead area (might squirt a little more cleanser). I always leave the forehead area last because this cleanser does sting the eyes.

I like to apply whatever cleanser I use to my face first, and then put a tad more onto the brush before starting, or add a little as I go.
I don't like to put too much on the brush because I think that will interfere with the action of the brush.

Sometimes we pay a higher price for higher quality ingredients. I think this cleanser is well worth the price. It lasts a pretty long time. You can definitely play with amounts and use smaller amounts to make it last. I also use a different cleanser in the morning and night, so this has lasted me a long time. Give it a try. If you find it isn't worth it to you, then return it.

It's hard for me to tell because I switch off to other cleansers, but the foam is very lush. You could do your face with one or two pumps at most.
And two pumps doesn't even register on the level in the bottle, i.e., there's a lot of foam for a little bit of liquid, so I think it's a very good buy.
My Boscia, REN, and Pangea Organics cleansers, which cost about the same, or more, last about half as long as this bottle (which is quite tall).

depending on how much you use, theres 7 ounces and 1 pump will cover your entire face and neck. I use 3 pumps for my face neck and chest and the 3 pumps is still way too much. Alittle goes along way. This will last even with me using 3 pumps twice a day 6 months. the container recommends using the product up within 6 months after opening.

You should always use a moisturizer. I like their Sheer Transformation moisturizer. It's light and won't make you produce excess oil. However, it doesn't have sunscreen. They do have a sunscreen moisturizer too, but I haven't tried it myself. I would recommend going to a Sephora store and having them make you samples. That way you can try some products and see how they work for you. But definitely try the Sheer Transformation. Good luck!

answer 5
Even though this is a wonderful cleanser, cleansers are never enough and we need to moisturize after cleansing in my opinion. In regards to your question looking for a moisturizer by Ole Henriksen, I also have combination skin and found that their Sheer Transformation is their lightest moistuizer which I have used. A little goes a long way so use sparingly til your comfortable which how much to use for your face. Their African Red Tea moisturizer is great also much heavier and more for nightime or dryer skin. They also have one called Herbal Day Creme spf 15 but I found it too heavy for me but all of their products are real good along w/the ingredients. They have other moisturizers too and Sephora has them all on line w/good info on all. After doing alot of research over the years I have found that even w/combination skin, the drier areas still need moisturizer because when skin is too dry, its just as bad as too oily. It makes it break out and deepens lines. My advise is to just use a small amount. I hope any of this helps. Have a great day.

I have oily skin and am prone to breakouts, especially when I switch skincare products. I'm jealous that the Three Little Wonders works for you, because I broke out from all of them!
If you're looking for a non-chemicals-packed cleanser and one that won't suck all the moisture out of your face, I highly recommend this. :)
It has not made my skin freak out, it smells amazing, and it hasn't affected any of my other day or night products.

This is a great cleanser, but there is another cleanser specifically made for acne prone skin that I think is great. I have both of them in my shower. It's the Aloe Vera Deep Cleanser. While your cleanser sets your skin up for whatever routine you have after, it alone won't clear your skin. The 3 wonders are fantastic together. The night gel is, in my opinion, the most important product for clearing acne and it helps with aging also. Good luck with your skin! Keep using your 3 wonders, and your skin will only improve! Ole is my favorite overall skin care line. Nude skincare also has some great products worth trying if you grow tired of Ole. Their miracle mask is a great acne clearing product.

This is exactly the cleanser I would choose for you. I am using this for a bad purge after starting the Oil Cleansing Method. Although I don't typically have breakouts, I have them now! This cleanser, with it's non-irritating, natural, but exfoliating and clarifying ingredients is perfect to heal the skin. I am see rapid clearing between this and the REN Clear Calm cleanser. This cleanser is much more economical than the REN, and gives better exfoliation. The REN is more to draw out impurities - which you can accomplish with a clay mask (I like the Boscia Purifying Mask or the Fresh Clay bar used as a mask).
I think you will like this cleanser. If you have oily skin, you can leave this on for a few extra seconds to get a little extra exfoliation (I've done that).

While this product is a great, gentle cleanser, it isn't specifically meant for acne prone skin. Try Ole's Aloe Vera Deep Cleanser. Also, their exfoliating night gel is crucial in fighting acne. Chemical exfoliation is way more effective than scrubs, and gentler, so make sure you steer clear of those. Scrubs can actually make acne worse by causing irritation. Follow the night gel that with a good moisturizer and you'll be on your way to clear, gorgeous skin in no time.

You will see a rapid shrinking and healing of zits with this, and depending on your skin sensitivity, you can leave this on for a few extra seconds to get extra exfoliation (I've done this and it definitely helps). There's betaine (papaya enzymes) and yummy fruit ingredients that work very, very well. I only use natural skincare and I love this line.

What you are describing could be a skin condition that a dermatologist should help you with. Flaking skin that can't be alleviated by over-the-counter products probably needs something more potent. Call a dermatologist and talk to them about your skin concerns. If you want to avoid that, try Nude Skincare's Night Replenishing Oil. It feel very heavy, but use it only at night. If that doesn't work for you, then definitely try your dermatologist. Good luck!

If you face feels good after using this, but you're experiencing some flakiness, my guess would be that the exfoliation of the cleanser is not enough for you, nor should it be.
You should incorporate a scrub into your regimen and then there would not be so much dead skin left after using this cleanser.
I LOVE the OH Red Tea sugar scrub for the face. You actualy can use it 2 or 3 times a week in lieu of cleanser. The sugar and honey cleanse, moisturize, and disinfect the skin, and it is so yummy you will have to force yourself not to eat it.
After I scrub with it, I leave it on for an extra minute or two to get the full effects of the honey. You will love it!!!!

Perhaps you need to rinse the African Tea Wash with a clean, warm, wet wash cloth, instead of using your hands. (to thoroughly remove any cleanser residue). Be gentle when handling your face. Try Dr. Perricone's Face Finishing Moisturizer....great healing ingredients, can use both in morning and at night. You may want to try a glycolic wash: Dr. Murad's AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser is outstanding !!! PS: you did not mention if you were taking any medications or topical treatments for any dermatologic/rhematology problems. High concentrations of vitamins A and C, that are often used in products labeled "wrinkle-reduction" and "brighteners", can be irritating. Check the % of such, talk to your dermatologist. Remember to get regular skin cancer screenings !!! Use a great SPF. Best of luck ! ! ! ! !

This will remove most of your eye makeup, but if you're really concerned, use an oil based cleanser or makeup remover before you get in the shower. I understand the desire for a "does-it-all" cleanser, but we have to be realistic about our products and what they can do for us. If you want a cleanser that will remove all makeup, try cleansing oils. Shu Uemura makes the best ones, in my opinion, but they can only be purchased online (not sephora) now. It's no longer carried in US stores.

Most foaming cleansers are using sodium laurel sulfate to create the foam, and SLS is extremely drying. This cleanser has much superior ingredients. I have normal skin also, and live in a dry climate, and although I'm a mature woman, I appreciate the clarifying properties and natural ingredients. You will also get a natural (betaine, etc.) exfoliation, which every skin needs, especially as we age.
