Questions & Answers for Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Body Butter

How does it compare to AG firming body emulsion?
I love the AG firming body emulsion and was wondering how this product compares in regards to scent (same? more/less intense?) and moisturizing ability. If you've tried both, which do you prefer overall, or which is better for certain needs?

The body butter is creamier and the scent is more prominent. I prefer the Body butter but wish it came in a bigger size.

The Body Butter is much thicker and has a longer lasting scent than the Body Emulsion (sp?). I have used both and the Body Emulsion (again...sp?) Is thinner and more like a lotion that claims to firm your skin. I didn't notice any firming. I prefer the body butter because it soooo moisturizing and the scent is stronger. I hope this helped : )

Amazing Grace scent difference
My Mother rec'd a gift set of Amazing Grace Body Emulsion Cream and the shower gel. I LOVED the scent so much, I ordered the AG Emulsion Cream and Body Butter. The items I ordered do not smell anything like what my Mother has. Hers has a wonderful scent you can smell all day. Mine does not have much scent at all. Does anyone know why this happened?

I can't see the other answers so I don't know if someone has already mentioned this, but I read that Philosophy sold part of it's ownership (or something to that extent) to Coty who are apparently notorious for cheapening the quality of scents for the sake of saving $.

I've heard other reviewers mention Amazing Grace products don't match the original perfume and I agree. I absolutely love the perfume products but don't purchase the lotion or body butter any more. After applying the perfume, I feel like the scent fades but I'll get compliments hours later so I know it lasts. Also, some scents change from person to person.
