Question
How to apply it without creasing??
I bought this product today and love it... But it creased on me a few minutes after i left the store. Other reviews say its crease-resistant but its not that way with me. How do you apply it?

Put primer on first. All women over 45 should wear a face primer under makeup anyhow. It makes all face makeup look so much smoother. I like Korres, but there are lots of good ones.

I had some creasing at first, but realized I was just need to change my application. Here is what works for me:
- dab some product onto my undereye area using a concealer brush
- then, using my ring finger, I press lightly on my undereye and hold for a second or two - I repeat the "press and hold" until I've covered my whole undereye area. I find the heat from my finger helps the product set better.
- If I do get any setting into lines, I use the tip of a triangle sponge to gently wipe away the excess from the lines.
- I set using my BE bisque powder.

Use a concealer brush or your fingertip to "press" product into the area, then blend with a fluffy brush and set with finishing powder :)

Use a concealer brush instead of the sponge for thin, smooth application.

I prefer to use a concealer brush to apply, and then dab over with the pad that's included.

I use Medium Beige Bare Minerals, and I use Medium Time Balm with it (and even without the Bare Minerals). I have olive undertones. My guess is that Medium would work for you.

I am also medium beige, however I am mid-medium in this concealer. I think you should try it on in the store before you purchase online.

When choosing a concealer for your foundation, you should always try a concealer that's slightly lighter than the shade of your foundation, because usually if you chose a darker shade of your concealer, once you apply your (shade) foundation it may look darker on areas where you applied the concealer. Since you use BareMinerals Medium Beige, I would recommend Light/Medium or Mid-Medium (Hoping this shade would not be too dark for your Medium Beige foundation).

Well, I hope I was some help to you & good luck! =-)

I use bare minerals also. This concealer comes in a few different shades. Go with the one that matches your skin tone.

Yes, it can. theBalm makes a concealer brush now:

The brush makes for easier and cleaner application.

I always found that this product applied better with warm fingers. The applicator just harbors bacteria in the pot anyhow.

The new pots come with applicators- i would just purchase flat ones in the store and cut them out (with very sharp scissors) to fit the container.

I am half asian and have a tough time finding any makeup that matches my skin tone. This is the best stuff I've found. I am currently using the Medium but I see that there is a "light-medium" now.... Hmmmmm.

I have yellow undertone and Iight tan. (Also, I'm Asian, if that helps). I use the Light/Medium concealer. So I think that shade will also be perfect for your light tan skin skin. Good luck!

Hmm, I bought the light. I have some yellow undertones in my skin, but I'm mostly peachy pink. One-quarter Asian. If you're very golden, don't buy "light" either.

Question
What do you apply over the concealer?
I have had trouble finding the right concealer for me. Many times my undereye area is bright after I apply the concealer. But then when I put my powder over the concealer, it makes my face look darker in the areas where I applied the concealer. I feel like concealer alone looks unfinished. What do you suggest applying over the concealer, if anything? Pressed powder, loose powder, what brand specifically?

My new thing is to apply my concealer, then spray Urban Decay All Nighter and i let it air dry. Then i apply light coat of translucent powder like Makeup Forever HD Powder, to set the concealer. then i put my foundation powder, blush and bronzer over that.

I apply my foundation lightly over my under eye concealer, and finish off with a transluscent powder or finishing powder. I match my foundation pretty close to the color of my concealer to avoid that "light around and under the eye raccoon look!! Matte powders work best and have better results in your finished look.

It must be, because when they looked at my skin they could tell that I have sensitive, acne prone skin. I have not broke out yet. It's actually a wrinkle treatment with alot of skin loving ingredients.

Question
Carried in stores?
Hi, I'm interested in this concealer but wanted to test the shades first before buying. Is there a way to find out if this is carried in a store near me? I am in Andover, MA and the closest Sephoras are in Salem, NH and Burlington, Ma. Thanks for your help.

I think they have it in stock at most Sephora's. I actually tested it out in the store before I bought it. Just call ahead but I know they carry it at the Prudential store & everywhere else I have bought it including LA & Providence & NYC. They also have it at the Chestnut Hill Mall Sephora. I think most Sephora's have it. It is really amazing & easy to use. A sales accociate reccomended it to me & I've now been using it daily for years.
