What's the better option? I've been using my fingertips and seems to work fine but I'm wondering if maybe I just don't realize the difference it might make.

I use to use my fingers until I got this brush. It seems to go on with a flawless look and goes on more evenly.

How do you use a brush with liquid foundation?
I have never used a brush with liquid makeup before. Do I dot makeup on my face and then use the brush to smooth it out or do I apply makeup to the brush itself? Do I blend in corners with finger or sponge or just use the brush for blending?

I personally apply the foundation to the top of my hand and then dip the brush, like I am painting. I don't use my fingers at all, I use the brush only. However, I also apply powder so anything I missed, gets blended by the powder brush. Good luck

The bristles are not natural, they are either nylon or synthetic.

No, this is not the right kind of brush to use for mineral type foundations. A better choice would be a kubuki brush.
