I have fair skin and dark hair, I use them both and love them.

The Amber Diamond Palette is more subtle and bronze and not as dramatic as the Rose Diamond which is a multi range of pinks.

If you want a product that you can use as a rosy blush and highlight then go for the Rose Diamond. If you just want a natural sheen with little color pay-off then go for the Amber Diamond.

I go by my skin tone; I'm a pink, cool tone, so I went with the Rose. You may wish to go with the Amber if you have a warm tone, or play against your tone with the pink. These are very pale, so either would work.

I feel that anyone could wear either. It seems like it would be more a question of personal preference. I chose the Amber, because I wanted to add luminosity to my skin, rather than added rose tone. It also leaves a slight dewy finish. It's awesome!

My sister have a dark skin and pink tons combine very good with dark skin and peaches too!!! Don't be scared you can call sephora, more close to you and asks if they have an Diorskin Shimmer Star, and you can go there and test for to see if you really like, because different people have different test.

I have brown eyes and medium skin tone. My color in Nars Sheer Glow foundation is Santa Fe. I would recommend Amber Diamond because at least for me I get pretty tanned in the summer so this one would go more with my bronzed look. Also I tend to wear powder bronzer and blushes that make me look tanned throughout the year so I personally prefer the Amber Diamond.

I would suggest the amber, as the pink has some very light pink tones. The amber is really beautiful even on my fair skin tone. The salesperson thought that the pink would be too light for me, and I wear light beige foundation. If you like a more frosted tone and wear light pink lipstick/gloss, you may prefer pink.

Dior offers two variations of Shimmer Star. Because you are fair, you can easily benefit from both.

Amber Diamond: You can use the lighter shades as a highlight and the darker shaders as bronzer/contour and even a blush.

Rose Diamond: Lighter shades can be used as highlight and the darker shades can be used as a blush. You can also add this on top of a matte blush to give you that POP!

Both variations can be used as all-over face color and even eyeshadow :) The shimmers are finely milled and the texture is smooth.

The purplish one in the picture is the Pop Diamond. It been out of stock forever, so I have the Rose Diamond, a very pale pink. It's not enough color for me to use as a blush (I like a nice color in the cheek as I naturally have a 'high' color), but it is lovely, very soft. The shimmer is very soft and almost creamy looking, not like a sparkle powder.
You could use either in my opinion, but since many blondes have a golden skin, you would probably prefer the tan one.

Unfortunately, this product does not come with a brush. Sephora carries a wide variety of brushes. What I recommend: for an airbrush effect - use a dual-fiber face brush; for accentuating specific areas of your face - use an angled brush blush.

No, any brush that fits in a compact would give an awful effect: too extreme and concentrated. I use a very fluffy brush from Bobbi Brown. A large BE brush would work also.

I love a glow too! You don't say whether you're yellow (warm) based skin or a pink (cool) base, but that would be my deciding factor. These are very pale in color, (and so am I), so either would work. Pick the one that appeals to you, or go by the tone of your skin.

I recently purchased the amber and really love it on my fair skin tone. It adds a lovely radiance to the face. It gives you that "magical something" that you see on the red carpet stars. I apply it daily to my cheeks, temples, and nose. When I want a light eyeshadow, I apply the darkest tan to my lids, then a lighter shade under my brows.

For a beautiful glow, if you have cooler undertones to the skin, Rose Diamond will actually be more suitable for you as you would want to enhance your natural skintone. Use Amber Diamond if you have more warmer undertones.

It is a soft pressed powder that I use as a highlighter. I have the rose, and it is a pale pink on the skin, so if you like a very light blush, this could also be your blush. The shimmer quality is excellent.

I haven't been able to get my hands on the Pop Diamond!!! so I can't speak to that, except that it would probably look great on you. The Rose and Amber are very pale, so not a lot of color but the shimmer is excellent. I use a very pale pink blush under the Rose.

It's not a lot of sparkle, it's definitely shimmer, this is a quality product. This is the best for luminosity and that is my fave kind of product, so I've tried a lot.
As to color: I went for the Rose as I'm cool, pink-toned, so you could use either Rose or Amber depending on whether you want to play up your skin tone for a monochromatic effect, or go with the Rose for a light (very pale) pink effect.

I much prefer MAC soft n gentle mineralize skinfinish for a powder luminizer or Benefit high beam for liquid based. Body shop makes some great luminizers too that aren't shimmery but give that lit from within look. Diorskin shimmer didn't live it up for me plus its way too expensive. Hope this helps you out!
