answer 1
Yes, suitable for all skin types, however...

It will leave a dewy, moist look to the skin. Exactly what some one with oily skin doesn't want...

answer 3
Absolutely. The hyaluronic acid microspheres and water base add just enough moisture for acneic skin types while sensitive skin types can benefit from the non abrasive anti aging benefits.

Question
Sephora only colors?
Why are Sephora's colors and names for this different than the names and colors on the By Terry website? If they're essentially the same, then what are the corresponding colors? I'm light-medium in Asian skintone with yellow undertones. I suspect I'm #6 Golden Light, but I don't know which one that corresponds to in Sephora's colors. Help?

Someone posted that the color swatches are pretty true to the actual color, THIS IS NOT TRUE !! They are completeley off! Even the girls at Barney's in New York will tell you that. For example, Vanilla Light #5 is a very nice neutral with a slight yellow undertone, and the Golden Light #6 has a pinkish/peach undertone. You would think by the swatches, that Vanilla Light would be pink, but it's more yellow. Golden Light would make you think warm and yellow tones, but is pink with a slight peack undertonee. Very frustrating when you are stuck ordering online. Luckily Barney's will send you free samples so you can see for yourself.

The colors are fairly tru to the swatches.

I find Sephora's assistants very helpful in color selection. I've had this same question regarding my own shades, and they've never steered me wrong in that department.

Try the shade that appears closest to your existing one, regardless of the names. It won't have to be exact, as this is so blendable & not heavy at all. You likely already have a hunch which one will best match your existing pick.

This is my all-time fav, although I don't limit myself, being the product junkie that I am.

Question
Which shade is right for me?
My skin is light-medium and I do use any pink tones as it makes my skin appear drab. I use the lightest of any yellow tint to ensure I do not look washed out. Which of these would best suit my skin tone? I normally use a beige toned foundation but it varies between brands. Thank you

HI, I too, have a light to medium complexion, and I also don't look good with a foundation with a pink undertone. I just bought the shade called Natural Light. It is a very close match, I would say it's a neutral beige with a hint of yellow undertone. Because of the way that the light reflects off of this foundation, I felt I could have gone one shade darker to the Fresh Light shade. But the Fresh Light still works for me, and I just use a finishing powder just a hint darker than my normal complexion. I'm going to Milwaukee this week-end, and they have a Sephora store. I plan on checking out the Fresh Light to see if it would be a better match for me or not. I will let you know.

Definitely the beige light, sounds like we have similar skin tone and that's what I use. It blends very well, so you shouldn't have a problem even if the color was slightly "off".

I have formerly oily skin, now it's combination and I haven't been troubled with breakouts. I do use a primer and a light hand.

The climate here can also be hot and humid and my skin can be quite slick by the ned of the day. With a good primer it seems to stay on pretty tight and not dissolve into oily patches.

Question
I have fair , dry skin and presently use Vincent Longo's Water Canvas in Creme Beige which is a perfect match for me. Which color would you recommend?
I am over 55 and want a creamy light foundation. I am not sure what my skin undertones are, since years ago I was told I had pink undertone and the Vincent Longo shade I use now, to the best of my knowledge has more of a yellow undertone?? I am a redhead with hazel eyes.
Is it possible to get a sample of this product when I place an order??

Thank you

I've used Vincent Longo in Creme Beige and found that Natural light in #102 was the barest bit on the light side, but looked nice even so. This is a nice foundation for dry skin.

Question
how do I choose the right shade w/o seeing or trying the product
I am 52, hazel eyes, slightly dry, no pink in skin but not lots of yellow either, blonde. I guess skin wold be more neutral than pink or yellow, but leans toward yellow. I have used Real Sand in mineral make-up by L. Mercier, # 4 in Armani, nude 0.5 in Chanel & #10 Beige Lumere in Chanel concealer. The 0.5 in nude is a little too yellow.

I've used #4 in Armani and found #102 a tad light but a fairly good match. It didn't look odd, or artificial.

Question
What color should I choose
I see there are some comments from customers who like the lightest shade because they are very fair. I am fair but not very fair. I usually use the 2nd or 3rd shade in most lines. Can you tell mee which shade to get in the By terri foundation

I am using the lightest By Terry shade, and it is perfect for me. For comparison, Bobbi Brown's Porcellian shade is too light for me. It is so hard to pick colors on line -- I only found it because I got a sample that happened to be the right shade (and that doesn't happen very often). Good luck.

You will not find many foundations of this caliber.

The delivery via its attached brush makes this the most portable, quick, convenient foundation I've ever used. All that would still not make it a must-buy, if it weren't for the wonderful look the product gives...the coverage is buildable, depending on the day. I am fair, ruddy, light /medium hair & use the lightest shade, as well as the 'rosy' pale shade. Skin matching was no issue.

I do use a powerful under-eye concealer prior to this foundation, but if you have no particular concern in that area, you could skip it. Blends well, wears well, is worth the investment.
