put the funnel into the top and carefully pour your fragrance into the funnel. do it slowly when you get closer to the top so you don't over-pour

check out the FLO atomizer that's new on this site if you have trouble filling the atomizer! it costs a little more, but it looks ...naughty...which is all i will say :P and the tube is a cute, fuchsia! wider opening for you to spray your perfume into, with a soft rubber/silicone opening-lip so no chance of your perfume running down the nozzle while spraying!

but i still love this slim pink atomizer and have a few. none of my perfumes can open/unscrew for me to pour or decant into the atomizer's vial! so i throw out the funnel. but i just hold the atomizer's vial down on a table, at an angle, with one hand, and the other has the bottle of perfume-- just make sure that the lip of the vial is a mm or 2 pressed firmly against, and under the nozzle opening of the perfume...i might miss and spray my hand holding the vial to get the angle right, woops! or i might have some perfume drip down if i don't hold it firmly-enough against the vial while spraying...but with practice, filling is easier!

It comes with a funnel - the top comes off and you can either pour or if all your full size bottles are spray, you would have to carefully move the atomizer with the perfume bottle spray nozzle - not a lot of movement, just enough to keep the two together. I don't use the funnel with a spray bottle of perfume only my pour bottles. There is another brand of atomizer made especially for filling from spray bottles, there is two that work well. Flo (which can be filled by both pour and spray) and Travel Spray by Travalo - which can only be filled with spray bottles.

There is a small silver funnel and you pull the silver spray piece out of the pink case, it just slips right in and out, but is not overly loose. You just don't have to wrestle with it. And then you unscrew the top portion and put the funnel on and fill it with your favorite perfume! It works really well and doesn't leak or anything!

I wouldn't see why not, the inside of the atomizer is a glass bottle. However I do not recommend putting water in one that previously had perfume in it. I would buy a new one.

i would assume so! you could actually use a little bit of a toner instead, and that would be really nourishing to your skin as well as cooling!

Don't bother. It stopped spraying after two days and I couldn't see anything wrong. Go for a better quality product.

I have both. The Evian atomizer creates a very fine spray; the atomizer is just like a perfume bottle (i.e. would have larger water droplets). I would not use the atomizer for water. But...the Evian is expensive; but when on a plane-worth it! You could try it and use it as a perfume atomizer if the water doesn't work out-although I am not thrilled with this product.

that would be a good idea except that this atomizer sprays a lot of product at one time...so you might end up soaking your face. It might be better worth it to go to a beauty supply store and buy a small empty spray bottle.

hmmm, I am so cost conscious, and working to conserve my expensive perfumes, I lay the nozzle on my skin at a slight angle and push very gently, short pumps to control how much comes out. I have both the silver and the pink, but the silver I got several years ago. I know many ladies spray their perfume like room deodorizers - all over, and in the air and walk into the spray - I can't afford to do that. You might try using it like I do and control how much product you spray out.

The pink atomizer doesn't spray a huge amount but, I do find myself having to wipe a little off sometimes, if I don't want to much on.

i haven't had any problems with it spraying too much perfume, so maybe it has a smaller nozzle.

I have both, the pink sprays less, but mine leaked. I have the rollerball & it works great.

I have both atomizers and the pink does seem to give a smaller spray amount, possible due to its leaner packaging. I have very light scents in mine so it doesn't matter to me, but I definitely see your point!

I would say so. I keep it closer to the areas I wanted saturated. I think your window will be safe with the pink one :)

The nozzle is pretty small, so (not having yet tested the silver atomizer) I would imagine it would spray less? I did, however, test the slim atomizer against a sample vial, and those two spray about the same amount.

Yes, this sprays less. In fact, I was holding about 12 in. away from body when spraying and about half of the spray reached me because there's not a whole lot that sprays out. Perfect spritz when held 4-6 in. away.

please don't buy this because it leaks! and if that's not a problem, it doesn't dispense the perfume easily and quickly. i will say this, though, when it does work, it does dispense a good amount...unfortunately the amount of perfume i lose due to its ability to leak so easily, is not worth it.

It comes with a funnel. If you are lucky enough to be filling from a bottle that has a screw-off top. pour carefully into atomizer through funnel. Its easy. If your full-size has a pump only.. you just squirt squirt squirt into the funnel until it is full. It's just as easy.. just takes a few more minutes. No big deal.

Sephora offers many smaller vials of the perfumes they carry for the purpose of refilling on-the-go containers. I just happened to have a refill bottle of the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb perfume that I adore, which originally came with a tiny version of the perfume bottle as well as a funnel to refill it. Unfortunately, the tiny glass perfume bottle cracked and I was left with a good bit of perfume in the refill bottle. For this perfect little atomizer, all you have to do is unscrew the silver top (with the atomizer portion itself) and use the provided funnel to pour in your favorite scent. If you can't find a refill vial of your perfume at Sephora, I would recommend checking any other stores where you can normally find your perfume, or just order some online. I hope this helps!

The pink case slips off, then you unscrew the top & fill it will the (provided) tiny funnel.

You screw off the spray nozzle place the silver funnel inside the glass bottle and spray your perfume into the funnel. The liquid will collect in the funnel and drop into the vial. You want to make sure to spray as close to the inside of the funnel as possible to collect the most liquid.

Simply pop the top off and put the funnel in. Then spray or pour the perfume in and it drains in. Very simple and easy.

After you are finished with a particular scent.. wash out the glass container inside with warm soapy water and rinse very well. then refill with any scent. Its easy.

If you mean when you finish one flavor can you put a new flavor in next time - yes, if you wash it out good, and I would suggest a baking soda wash to help neutralize odors.

I would just get another atomizer if you want to fill it with another perfume. Unless you are some kind of OCD cleaner, I don't think you'll be able to get the smell of the first perfume out before adding the second.

I rinse mine out with rubbing alcohol and sprayed it though, then rinsed with water again. It was ready for another fragrance after that.

Don't fill the atomizer to capacity; just use the amount of fragrance you think you'll use up.

Then "wash" the atomizer in alcohol (pour a little and spray out) to clean the previous scent out. Once the atomizer is dry, then refill with a different fragrance! Easy.

You should be able to rinse the atomizer with some rubbing alcohol and water (let it air out and dry thoroughly before you add new perfume!) to remove the previous perfume scent.

The back of the packaging says "capacity 3ml," so... probably just a typo on the web description. I just poured a 1.2 ml sample-sized vial into the little container, and it looked to be only about 1/3 full, so.... 3ml is about right.

It seems like it holds 15 ml... b/c it's pretty long...

Yes, it cannot be 3ml because there is a decent amount of product in there. I am sure it is .5 oz. I have one and there is a lot of perfume in it. Hope this helps!

You can, but I don't since it seems to back spray or bounce off the funnel. I spray into the bottle, use the funnel for my pour bottles.

Yes, you actually spray into the funnel, sounds annoying, but you get a rhythm going. Unless your perfume has a top on it that screws off, then you can pour it in the funnel.

No. If the perfume builds up in the funnel it because there's no space for the air in the tube to get out so the perfume can get in

If you keep the sprayer close to the funnel you should be fine, but avoid filling the fun to the top, you might have to lift the funnel up to let all the liquid in before you spray some more.

Spraying the fragrance into the funnel is probably the easiest and less messy way to use this container. Maybe use a paper towel to wrap around during the process so that the fragrance doesn't get all over your hands?

I bought this atomizer for those fragrances that don't have sprays, and it's working very well so far!

Use the funnel to pour from your bottle into the atomizer. Keeps from spilling.

I actually asked the girl in the store I shop at the same question. The girl informed me that around the holidays, they normally have deals for multiple purchases of the perfume atomizer like, 5 for 40.00 because people like to buy them for stocking stuffers and gifts for multiple friends. Be sure to ask the store near you, they might have a different deal at the time.

Call the store before and double check. There should be no fee associated with filling the atomizer.
