No it's not tiny at all, in fact it's pretty big. It's bigger than most powder compacts and it works very well at controlling shine and setting makeup.

It is decently sized. I use it about 1 to 2 times a day and it lasted about three and half months which I think is pretty good. I have really oily/shiny skin and I have found this to be one of the only products that actually helps so yes I would say it is worth the money.

I don't think it contains any oils, but even if it does, it does not clog pores. This is a great product for oily skin!

Do you just apply this with The Balm's Mini Kabuki Brush?

Not sure what the mini kabuki brush is like, but it would probably work fine. I use a big brush to apply in the morning, and then I have a small sponge (from theBalm timeBalm concealer) that I use throughout the day if I need to reapply (but I don't have to reapply very often with this product).

Yes it works great over liquid makeup, I use it over my tinted moisturizer and it really is translucent. It gets rid of shine too.

This is an excellent translucent powder for setting foundation, and is designed to keep the skin matte and free of excess oil/ shine. Use it for touch-ups throughout the day if needed, and this will help to keep your foundation wearing better throughout the day.

Question
Use as a finishing powder?
I don't have oily skin, but looking for a finishing powder to smooth out makeup, add a touch of cover/finish & is portable for touchups. I like the Balm products. Any thoughts on using it for this?

That's exactly what I use it for. I don't have oliy skin, but I use Sexy Mama to finish my look and give a matte finish to my makeup. IT doesn't have an applicator, but I use a retractable blush brush and it's perfect.

The compact is very thin- less than a half-inch, I would say. It doesn't have room for a sponge applicator to fit in it.
