CARGO blu_ray(TM) Pressed Powder

What it is:A pressed powder created especially for use with high-definition film. What it does:Created to provide flawless results while looking completely natural during high-definition filming, blu_ray(TM) Pressed Powder contains specialized photochromatic pigments that adjust with the light so that your base makeup always looks perfect regardless of lighting or setting. What else you need to know:Photochromatic pigments adjust with the lighting so that you have natural looking makeup no matter what the setting, while ultra-fine micronized minerals fill the look of fine lines and reduce the appearance of imperfections. An irregular particle size creates light dispersion, an effect that softens the look of the skintone. This oil-free powder is perfect whether you are getting married, going to your prom, having portraits taken, or simply want to look fabulous anytime and comes in a sleek black compact for convenient touch-up on the go.

Question
What was the original color when this product first came out?
I purchased this product when it first came out and nowhere on the case does it say the color. I would like to buy more in the same shade but I'm not sure which shade it was.

This powder is now available in four shades due to popular request. For Indian skin tones I would suggest shade 20 or 30.

It seems pretty sheer universal. Although darker medium skin probably wont match as well.

answer 3
I would say most likely. The powder seems to blend on almost any skintone in the light and medium ranges (I don't know about very dark). A friend of mine who is from Columbia and has much darker skin than I do with a yellow/olive shade to it used mine and loved it as well.

This powder is not a foundation and so can not be used with a wet sponge. It does give a good coverage due to the optical blurring effect and the photochromatic pigments, however it is not a tradition dual purpose powder foundation.

answer 2
It is a mineralized pressed powder, so you really just want to use it with a brush. I wouldn't reccommend a sponge wet or dry or you may feel it looks a little powdery. By using a brush in a buffing, circular motion, you will get a flawless more airbrushed look. For a fuller coverage use a kabuki or flat top brush, for a sheerer coverage use a fuller brush or fan brush.

I have not tried it with a sponge, wet or dry. A large brush works great.

This is a pressed powder so like any powder it is designed to set foundation and concealer. However because of the great coverage, optical blurring and photochromatic pigments, this powder is also ideal for people who do not want to wear foundation. If used alone it will give medium coverage.

My skin can get complicated yet I can wear this alone and have great all day coverage. I have tried this w/ conceler over and under, w/ primer and w/o, alone and over foundation, w/o lotion base and w/ lotion base all depending on how big of hurry I'm in. Try it for yourself and experiment I doubt you'll be disappointed.

You do not need to wear makeup under this powder; it looks just like makeup, only not cakey or greasy! I apply it with a dry sponge, but a brush works well. too.

I think it will. I have normal to dry skin. I find that some days I need to add the cargo oil free foundation underneath for added moisture then layer with the powder. I have some blemish scaring as well and after I apply the powder I go back with a concealer brush and concentrate on areas that need to be covered more. This powder has great smooth coverage.

I know that the 10 is the lightest. If I were you, I would call the nearest store and ask them what the online name is, or whether the color you want is the light, beige/medium, medium/dark, or deep. You can always return it if you get the wrong color.

Hi there, unfortunately I think even the darkest shade they offer is still too fair for you my friend. If you are looking for a wider colour range, try Make-Up Forever, they might have a colour that suits you better.

My face breaks out pretty easily too, but I think its pretty safe to wear as long as you wash your face. It wont make you break out, but its still always a good idea to wash it off before you sleep cause if you're like i am, it doesn't matter what type of make up it is, i will break out if i sleep with makeup on.
