I would absolutely recommend this scent for you. It's not going to be as strong as when you first apply it, but it will definitely linger for the day.

I've found that the smell of all Givenchy perfumes last for quite a while, and this one is no exception. I spray it before going to work and can still smell it into the night.

Yes; this fragrance is long lasting but it is not a strong scent. Which could be a good thing.

I was very lucky to receive my first bottle for my birthday gift a few years back by a good friend of mine that works selling fine fragrances at a large retail store. I have loved Hot Couture since this time. The bottle that was given to me was different,{the empty bottle was too beautiful to throw away} and it did have more holding power than the newer version, but on me this is still intriguing, sensual, warm, peppery, super-rich and unforgetable. Since every fragrance smells different on each person, I would suggest you try a sample at your Sephora store first before buying the larger bottle or buy the rollerball instead and see if it's for you.

Eau de Parfume is the stronger of the two. Parfume notes that it is a more concentrated perfume. Eau de Toilette is a lighter version of the same scent. Less of the actual perfume is in the Eau de Toilette.

If you wanted to kill on the red carpet, or if you are dressing up for that moment when he'll ( or she'll to be fair about it) pop the question...Eau de Parfume is what you want.

For normal day to day and normal evenings Eau de Toilette is plenty fine.

the terms deal with the concentration of scent vs alcohol. eau de parfum is going to have a higher concentration of perfume in it and will therefore have a stronger scent that will typically last longer. It is also more pricey because of this. Eau de toilette has a lower concentration of perfume oils so it will be a lighter scent that usually won't last as long. Hope this helps!

This is an Eau de Toilette, pink in color and it is wonderful! I have the Body Lotion and just a little will last all day.

I think the white and black boxes are their old packaging.

I saw this is the store and was excited to see it. I remember it being a lot more spicy as another reviewer stated. I really think this is a changed formula. It is frustrating when scents make different come backs.

It is the same as the old one except the old Hot Couture definitely smelled more spicy. The new one smells more sweet, the raspberry note is stronger than it used to be. It's still the same scent, it just seems like certain notes are stronger/weaker than they used to be in the old formulation. I personally preferred the old version, but this one is still really nice.

there is a definite pepper note that is missing in smelling this that was evident in the older formula. I remember smelling the older formula in a department store and talking with the lady about how unusual i thought it was the pepper and the raspberry. it was soft and peppery and slighty sweet. I don't like super sweet and this smells sweet. she loved i loved it. the pepper note, which is evident in the old formula is not even listed as a note in this one. This has stronger raspberry and no pepper. She read me the description of the notes from her card behind the counter and pepper was a key in it. not so here. either it is removed or smoothered. it cannot be the same. I believe this to be re-formulated following the sweet trends seen so often in perfume. I don't know when the reformulation might have occured because my bottle was purchased a few months after it very first came out.

I don't think the scent has been changed at all. I have been wearing it for at least 5 years and it's the same as far as I can tell. The only think I know is that they do make a perfume rather than the Eau de Toilette. So maybe that might be the difference you are thinking about.

i found that its only available through limited stores and online websites. for sure dillards carries them through store and online and sephora. tried other places, but coudn't find it. i was super excited when i saw sephora have it, but i think they only have it online. couldn't find it at my nearest store.

nearly impossible to find in-store. Check Sephora stores or JCP with Sephora inside and see if they can have the product shipped to the store (for free) or to you directly. I've bought this for years and in the U.S, it is very hard to find!
