Question
Metal container?
Does anyone have have a problem with the packaging? It seems to me that a lot of product could get wasted because you couldn't squeeze it all out.

My only complaint is the lid. I put it in a baggy when traveling because the it has made a mess in my makeup bag before. It is a design flaw as it happened with the last tube. I will still buy it again because I love the stuff!

Ugh i have so much trouble with the packaging, I travel a lot and if i dont have the tube all by itself and protect it from anything that could weigh on it, when i open it it all oozes out. The tube also gets kinked up and you cant straighten it out without losing more product :/

I've been using this product a long, long time...years. It's always been packaged the same. I have never had any wasted productl. A little product goes a long way and I've used it all up until I have squashed down the tube into a very small piece...

Question
Is You Rebel oil free?
My daughter is acne prone and has been advised to use oil free products. She likes You Rebel but I am concerned it is aggravating her acne.

I like the texture but probably would not recommend it on acne prone skin. It is a bit oily

I don't know if it contains oil, but it gives my very dry skin a noticeable sheen. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for someone with oily skin or acne. How about trying Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer?

Does You Rebel Go on By Itself?
Should I be using a moisturizer before applying You Rebel? What is your opinion on using a primer first? Or should I use both prior to applying You Rebel?

I usually wear moisturizer, sun block (oil free), primer, and then make up. If you want a light make up, you can slightly wet the make up sponge with water or moisturizing toner (depending on how dry your skin is), and apply make up, or You Rebel.

Definitely just put You Rebel on alone. It's moisturizing in itself.

Obviously, don't use it in place of your moisturizer after your daily routine, but when applying makeup don't worry about having to put something underneath it. The purpose of this product is that it's easy and great for some added coverage and a little dewy finish!

Question
I have been using Stila Tinted Moisturizer with SPF. Can anyone compare this tinted moisturizer and Stila's?
I have medium skin, and I am wondering how this tinted moisturizer works in comparison to Stila's.
-Does this make your skin oily?
- Does it have shimmer in it?
-Is it more matte?
Any information would be helpful, thanks a bunch!

The regular 'you rebel' does not have spf, but the lite does. I can wear the lite in winter months, but it is too light for summer.
It is not oily at all, leaves your skin looking dewy, but doesnt feel sticky.

Love love love this product! I have recommended it to so many friends! It's definitely matte and not oily at all! I was worried it would be oily and make me break out but it didn't! The red tube doesn't have shimmer but I believe there was another by the same brand that did. Hope this helps!

Question
I am a bald man who shaves my head. I want to look for and try a moisturizer - tinted or a subtle base for color.
I have never worn makeup or color but I would like to try it.
From what I have read a tinted moisturizer might be best to try first.
I look better in Summer when I have a little color.
How do I best determine my color - skin type.
I will include a photo.
Do you have men come into the shops to get help with this and can I do that discreetly? I want it to very subtle in terms of not looking like I am made up.
Thanks

I love your courage and I love Sephora but if I were you I'd start with a face moisturizer or body lotion that has a gradual self tanner in it (like Jergens). They're simple to use and gradually build up a natural looking touch of color.

T his is a very sheer tinted moisturizer which means the color is subtle. I have light skin and it looks great. It only comes in the one shade so i'm not sure if it's suitable for med-dark to dark skin. But otherwise it may work for you!

Question
Is it worth the money?
My friend has been using this for a couple of years now and she is in love with it. She says it makes her skin so smooth and soft and it covers her face like a foundation but it feels like nothings on her face. She worships it and I've been wondering what tinted moisturizer to buy and I don't know if it will work for me.

Yes, totally worth the money. I think Sephora gurantees everything...so if you don't like it, I think you can return it as long as you have a receipt.

It all depends on the person, of course, but I don't use anything else. I worked at beauty stores for years and have tried basically every product out there. I'm very happy with it...both because it keeps my skin moisturized during the day (i have very dry skin) and it covers beautifully. When I don't wear it, people ask me if I'm getting sick.

Having said that, it is important to remember that everyone has different skin and different needs. If you can, ask your friend to let you try it for a few days. That's what I did with my best friend. That was 4 years ago and I literally never buy anything else!

I have also been worshiping it for a couple of years now as well. I think it is worth the money. It is the one tinted moisturizer that works for me. I have really sensitive skin and I sweat a lot at my job. So far so good!

the aloe vera is wicked refreshing on your face after you apply it on. your face will appear a little oily right after you put it on but for me its only temporary. the only real problem i have with this product so far is the fact that sometimes the stuff just oozes out of the container when you open it lol.

It's pretty light coverage, so it might not be the right fit for you. I'm a big fan of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, which might provide a little more coverage. And for a natural, (but covering) summer look, try Chanel Teint de Soleil. Rub a small amount in all over with a Kabuki brush. The stuff is expensive but it lasts forever, and really does provide natural looking covereage. I use it over tinted moisturizer and by itself.
