No lather when using with Clarisonic?

I love my Clarisonic brush and started using the Clear Complexion cleanser about a month ago. But it seems as though it doesn't lather much (if at all) with the Clarisonic. Does anyone else notice this? Does it matter if it doesn't produce a lather?

Pump the cleanser directly onto your Clarisonic brush and you will find that it actually gets quite foamy. I find that I have to use less cleanser with the Clairsonic because the cleanser becomes so foamy when I use it this way.

It actually foams up quite a bit when I use it with either my bare hands or my Clarisonic. I think the key is having a wet face and pumping the cleanser directly onto a wet Clarisonic brush head. When using just bare hands, wet your hands first, apply the cleanser directly to your hands, rub your hands together to create foam, and then rub onto your wet face.

Yes, this happens to me too. It's not a problem, the cleanser is still cleaning it just doesn't have enough continuous surface area contact with the bristles to produce a lather. Your skin is going to look great pretty soon!

I don't use it with the clarisonic brush but it doesn't lather that much when I wash by hand, it's still effective though. So it probably won't lather much with the brush either

It lathers just fine for me. Try applying it directly to your brush. Adding a tad more water during the washing may help too.

I'm a faithful one anniversary user, i had the same problem, nasty oily skin, i got that 360 scrub brush that came with the 360 clean just to get the brush :P used that with the cleanser, problem solved. Just make sure that the pad is always kept clean/ sanitized. I use witch hazel since its natural and not so harsh, then i rinse it in water so that anything left behind wont get on my skin. try that and hopefully it will work just as well for you. If you want even better results try the new clairisonic brush, i hear its amazing. cant wait to get mine :P

Did you use the moisturizer as well? Dry skin breaks out because it is a cycle your skin trys to compensate for the cleaning you just gave it. If you overwash you overdry your face tries to make up lost oil, hence over production clogged pores. You absolutly have to moistureize the bosica moisture is great for troubled skin.

I am having the same issue. The first two weeks my skin was better than it ever had been. Now I have small bumps all over my forehead. It is almost as bad as prickly heat. I am debating whether or not to return it will I am still in the refund policy or stick it out. i am using it with a Clarisonic. I was doing it twice a day, I have switched to once and will see if that helps.

i highly doubt it is from this cleanser. pay close attention to your shower routine, check your shampoos and body washes for sulfates and throw them away. some people are very sensitive to that and develop acne, or make existing acne worse. It happened to me, too.

I haven't had that problem. Maybe try cleaning your cell phone since I break out there too when I've been talking alot on it. Maybe try switching to the reg. toner too. Help clear the pores before they get clogged.

Hi there! I think it's really effective, but I don't wear tons of makeup - just Bobby brown foundation, bronzer blush and mascara - oh! But it usually gets the mascara off (although I don't wear waterproof).

I found this removes my makeup easily in one wash, and does not leave my skin feeling dry, but fresh and squeaky clean. It even takes off my waterproof mascara. You only need about half a pump to wash your whole face, so it is efficient too.

I would say No, you will see results without it. I have toners/tonic of a different brand, but I don't use my toner every time I cleanse my face. So I've used the Complexion Cleanser by itself with just a little moisturizer after, and it works just fine. You get that nice clean feel when you use it, but it doesn't make you're skin feel tight at all, it's super gentle. If you like this cleanser, maybe you'll end up buying the tonic? ; ) Hope this helped!

You don't need the tonic. I almost never use it and have great results with the cleanser alone (although I have found the tonic to be really soothing on sunburns). But, really, the tonic isn't worth the money. (The cleanser totally is though!)

I tried the sample of tonic and loved it! however, I didn't feel it necessary to use this product daily in order to reap the rewards of the cleanser.. I do swear by the acne spot treatment though; use it faithfully morning and evening and have seen improved skin!!!

I used the tonic at first but since I can be admittedly lazy with my skincare routine, I eventually stopped using it. I haven't noticed that the cleanser works any less-- it's still amazing! You definitely don't need to use the tonic.

I use this with the toner, and I love the results. The toner is great on its own. I use it alot when my skin is feeling really oily. I use Bosica's moisturizer too, except when my skin is really dry or irrated then I use philosophy moisturizer. I also have very oily skin and the whole line-up is great.

Hi there! I haven't used the toner, but I do use lots of REN products, and absolutely love their jojoba exfoliator - it made my black heads and clogged pores better in a week, and in 3 months, smooth, clearer skin. :-)

My son uses the toner, and I have seen improvement. If someone used it faithfully every day I'm sure the results would be much more dramatic than what I see on my son's face. But that said, there is improvement so I'd say I'll buy this again.

I use all four clear complection products for my combination skin and I love it. I tend to really break out and get oily around my period so I use their willow bark breakout spot treatment and it clears it right up. to help clear up blackheads and those pesky ones under the skin make sure you exfoliate regularly and wipe down your cell phone every morning with rubbing alcohol. You'll be surprised how much better your face is if you clean your phone!

I like the two products and how they work together for me, but every face can be different. I also cannot comment about REN as I have not used their products, but I would give this cleanser a try.

After using this for a while now,This cleanser is impossible to make your skin to break out.It's made of natural ingredients where as some products with Chemicals can cause blemishes.It's light,smooth and cleanse very well.In the end break outs will never stop permanently because it's hormonal but using good cleansing regimen and the right products will help prevent or lessen them.Don't fir get that each one of us has different reactions to different predicts.you won't know until u try.That's what I did.You can return it to seohora after use if u didn't like it .I did that with a product before.They're a great store.

I find this one works better for minimizing my break outs. The purifying cleanser is great as well, but this just has that little bit extra. And it's a fantastic cleanser in general, very thick and deep cleaning. Sometimes I would feel like the purifying cleanser didn't quite get me as clean as I wanted but this one does.

Is this safe for the eye area?

I use a toner/cleanser from Cosmedicine and it is becoming harder to find... I'm bummed because it doesn't irriate my dry, sensitive eye area an even takes off mascara. I'm now forced to look for another cleanser that doesn't irritate my eyes and helps with my extremely oily skin... Has anyone had a problem when washing their entire eye area? I use this to remove eye makeup and have not had any problems. It removes eye makeup pretty well. If I have a lot of makeup on, it takes 2 washings sometimes. Hope that helps!

I haven't had any problems using this on my eye area. I wouldn't say it's the best makeup remover for waterproof eye makeup, but I have sensitive eyes and they aren't irritated by this product.

I like the Boscia Make-up Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil. It does a great job of removing all my eye makeup without irritating my sensitive skin. Once I use that to clean off my makeup I follow that with my regular cleanser and tonic.
