You can use this as a night time treatment. I like the use the Guava (clear) at night.

I'm sure you can with any color as long as you're very careful as to not rub your face against your pillow. But to be on the safe side, try wearing the clear (Guava) or light pink (Jasmine)

Guava is clear, so would not smear or mess up your pillowcase. I have 4 - Jasmine, Quince, Plum, and Wild Rose. The Jasmine is a very pale nude pink. I wear it to bed every night and have not had a problem - no lip prints on the pillowcase or all over my husband. ; )

If you get a dark color, like the rose I wouldn't recommend wearing it in bed because the color would come off and show, but the lighter pinks would be okay.

I can't see why not. I personally wouldn't because I would rub the color off into my pillow haha.

These do have color pigments that might make a mess on you and your sheets. I believe that they have a very light colored one, but a little moisturizing oil (what I use) can go a long way toward happy lips.

you absolutely can wear it to bed, and the moisturizing properties would certainly make your lips much softer by morning! However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as it may come off on your pillows and leave pink stains!

No... I would avoid wearing this lip butter to bed due to the color... Its a nice alternative to lipstick during the day, but you wouldnt want to get it all over your sheets at night...

I always use it at night! I use it before sleeping - and wake up to soft lips. It's perfect for night use..

You can definitely wear it at night; it will stay on your lips for most of the night. But I'd definitely recommend ONLY using the Guava at night; I stained my pillow case with the Quince!

Why not? I say. It is moisturizing and feels great on the lips. Also it is completely natural and organic, so it shouldn't give you any issues.

it really depends on the look you're going for, though i agree with the people who recommended quince and mango. they're light, wonderful colors that really bring out your features. fair people can practically get away with anything, though. plum is a nice color that doesn't go on as dark as it looks, and it's personally my favorite. i'm kind of fair, and it looks great.

I myself have an extremely fair skin tone. The coral of the pom. is extremely pretty and not too overpowering. It's a great alternative to a bright red lipstick. Hope this helps - I bought pom and love it!

I love the quince.

I, myself, am fair-skinned and I have the pomegranate lip butter. It's a subtle color and looks very good on me. It's not like a lipstick where the color is more obvious.

Jasmine is very pretty and soft. Pom is also really nice...sheer pink.

You may like the pomegranate but it is quite a deep color. It really depends on what shade you're looking for. The mango is a great color if you want a color that is more peach rather than pink. I would avoid the jasmine because it won't add any color to your lips.

I think Pomegranate would look good on any skin tone, or if you prefer a nude look, Guava is like a nude/clear.

i don't know about pomegranate, but i use the quince for every day, and i'm pretty fair (with brown hair.) i think that would be a good choice too.

i have dark hair and pale skin as well, and i honestly think any color would by good. the color of these lip balms are very subtle and supplement the natural flush of your lips to compliment your skin tone beautifully!

I think the pomegranate is a good universal color. the undertones are not too blue and not too orange -- very nice middle-of-the-road warm pink.

The colors go on pretty sheer but Jasmine is a really neutral sheer pink and smells amazing!

Quince or Pomegranate

I think they would all be flattering because none of them are super overpowering. The quince might be especially pretty with your coloring, since you sound cool (as opposed to warm). If you want to add color to your face I would recommend quince and if you want more of a neutral then jasmine would be perfect.

I'm asian and I'm using the pomengranate and it works really well for me - not too light or too dark either - just perfect.

I'm Asian with fair skin and black hair as well. I use the plum and wild rose. I swipe my lips with a glossy lip balm first and then swipe some of the lip butter for a softer shade.

I'm half asian and I have very similar coloring, dark hair and pale skin, and even though I'm fair, warm colors look good on me, not cool tones like most fair people. That's probably what complements your skin too because of the warm undertones of Asian skin. I own this in Pomegranate and Mango and I LOVE both of them. Pomegranate is coral which looks great on just about anyone, especially fair girls. Mango is a sheer peach that also complements lots of skin tones but especially warmer ones. I highly recommend both! They are great products and very wearable, but they do give a pretty tint to lips. Hope this helps!

Definitely! It's very light, I adore it! The color is fairly subtle and it's also buildable, so you can make it as light or as dark as you want. I think it should look very nice with your skin tone.

I think so. my skin ranges from light to very tan and I think the buildable coverage makes it suitable for most skin tones. Its a cross between the quince and the mango, in my opinion. I think it's the most versatile shade. My bff is see through pale (lol) and she borrows my pomegranate all the time.

I'm a fair skinned brunette with light lips and have both. I wear the Quince during the day - it gives a healthy pink flush to the lips. I love to wear the Wild Rose out with a coat of Too Faced Glamour Gloss in Barely Legal (a very light pink) when I want a little more color.

Wild Rose - red, but not an over done lipstick look.

The Wild Rose is more red toned and a little darker. Quince is a little lighter and more of a rose color. I have fair skin with brown hair and blue eyes and I can wear and like both colors.

Wild rose is a lot deeper in color, like if you'd been outside on a snowy day -- really good for porcelain skin tones. Quince looks more like a summery flush, it has a little more orange in it. I ended up having to use the smell as a dealbreaker, I couldn't make up my mind!

The wild rose color is a sheer deep red. The Quince color is actually a bright pink. Very bright.

I am a brunette/brown eyes/fair skin. I have both colors. Quince is just a light pink once it acclimates to your skin. Rose is a little stronger pink. I found that neither one was too bright and love them both.

I have Quince and Pomegranate. do not own wild rose but have tried it. Pomegranate is my favorite at the moment. Quince is VERY pink, in my opinion. Pomegranate is more of a cross between the Quince and the Mango so you would probably like Quince. Wild Rose is a lot deeper pink almost reddish look. Quince is a brighter pink.

I do not recommend using this product as a blush. It is formulated to be worn on the lips only.

Personally I think it would be best not to use it as a blush but thats just me. I have combo skin so for me it would probably be not good, I guess though with the darker colors just some dots on the cheekbone migh work, Just remember it is very moisturizing so I think with oily or sensitive skin maybe not. I would think this is TOO emollient to use as a blush.

You know, I tried it as a blush once and I didn't like it. The color seemed to really wash out. It was somewhat hard to blend. Ultimately, it just looked unnatural.

I did use this as blush. I have oily skin so it was a little too dewy for me, but I also have sensitive skin and it did not make me break out.

I love using this product as a multitasker. I have tried this balm as a blush. It goes on very smoothly and is extremely blendable. It gave my face a nice flushed dewy look. The staying power is not too great. You will have to apply again after a few hours though since the color seems to fade. Also, I have combination skin and have not experienced any problems with irritation or breakouts. My unsolicited advice is to just give it a try:). Best Wishes!

It works great on the cheeks...just apply it lightly by dabbing from fingertips...set it with a quick sweep of loose powder and it stays put...i have very sensitive skin and thi does not irritate me at all

I do dab whatever is left on my fingertip after application onto my cheeks because the Wild Rose color is so complementary to my fair skin. I have issues with hormonal acne (which is under control thanks to Dr. Wexler's acne line at Bath & Body Works) and have never had a breakout since using the lip butter as blush also.

Hi, I personally would not recommend using this lip balm as a blush. I know beauty gurus and various makeup artists have said that using lip balm/lipstick as blush is one of their favorite tricks, but to be honest, the feeling is just a bit oily and sticky to me. If you don't mind that feeling, I would say go for it! In the end I think it's all personal preference!

i have fair skin and love both the pomegranate (a slightly darker shade), and jasmine (sheer and natural).

I am light/medium and I Love the Jasmine shade.

Pomegranate is most versatile in my opinion. Quince is very popular though.

Quince is a mauve pink-great color, my fav, but it doesn't look natural on no make up skin. Plum is more purple, pomagranate coral, and wild rose reddish. Wild rose look most natural, because lips are more red than pinkish That effect I want). Guava is clear, but it leaves a bit of white residue, and actually made my lips more pale.
But all those color are subtle, and I tried them all and they will suit everybody-just depend what effect you want I like.
This product is more of a lip gloss/cheek color than balm. I use other regular balms, and they moisturize lips better, and this product is more 2 in 1.

I have light to medium skin tone. My natural lip color is usually a bit blush. I tried and got the Pomegranate, which gives me a sheer rose-pink wash of color. Perhaps the only moisturizing lip product, with color, i have ever used. Doesnt last as long as lipstick but, the light tint impressed me on how long it did last (for a lip butter)! and kept my lips moisturized.

I think any one of those colors are great options because simply gives you a sheer tint to your lips. If you want more color you can layer or use over lipstick...

if you have a tan skin tone I think the best shade for you is light peachy shades or shimmery pink! enjoy!!!

I found the pomagranate to be very pink. You'd still have to try it to know for sure, but probably Jasmine or Guava is a safer bet.

Yep!!! because it has a really awesome peachy-red color, and it would look great on everyone. Plus, it has the best feel to it, you so won't regret it! It's also natural so you won't have to worry about wierd stuff going onto your lips. It's also wonderful for chapped lips too.

Any type of skin can bare a little bit of reddish on the lips. It always looks good and gives you a little 'je ne sais quoi'!
It's also very creamy and comfortable on your lips.

I think pomegrante would look great on tan skin. I have guava and pomegrante, I use the pomegrante on my lips and cheeks, its a nice pink color. I have dark brown/golden hair and my skin is pretty tan as well. Give it a shot, you can always return it if you don't like it.

no it is not waterproof.

No definitley not waterproof although your lips will retain a slight stain for a little while.

This will only reflect the sun...use a product with sunscreen to be safe.

I think you would be better off using a cheek & lip stain...Like Tarte's or Benetint.

Unfortunately, it isn't very waterproof. It's more like a balm than anything else, so it's very smooth and creamy. If you go in the water, it shouldn't last you too long. But then again, there aren't a lot of lip balms that are waterproof! This product is better if you're looking for a little bit of color and hydration instead of a lipstick, but I'm not so sure it'll work on a tropical vacation! Sorry!

I just got back from the Florida Keys and was in the water all day..I would say it is not fully water proof, you will need to keep the tub with you- but it is the BEST shade for not wanting to look like you have caked on makeup at the beach and it looks great with a sun-kissed face :)

It does last for a good amount of time I drink water all the time and it dosent come off. Also I have gone in the shower with some on and came out and my lips still had some.

Kind of? it's not designed to be waterproof but it certainly is water resistant. You'd probably have to reapply once in a while though.

I wouldn't go with pomegranate if you don't like lighter colors, because it's fairly light. Wild rose or plum would probably be your best bets depending on the type of color you like. Do you prefer dark, rosy reds? If so, choose wild rose. Plum is better if you want a pretty berry color.

Pomegrante is probably the only one that will show up on your lips.

The wild rose for sure! It is a deep red compared to the others with more pink hues.

I have the same problem. Currently using quince and pomegranate. Try wild rose if you like a more vibrant lip, though.

i went with pomegranate and i've gotten pretty tan over the summer, but overall, these do not give you a deep tint, so i'd suggest quince. :D
