I have very thick hair and I got one similar to this flat iron for Christmas last year from my Mom. Do you think this flat iron will straighten my (very) thick hair??

I have super thick, long hair and I actually really like this iron. I find that regardless of what tool I use on my hair, it will always take a little extra time than someone with finer or less hair than me. With this iron, section your hair and crank up the temperature on the dial. I found it took me about fifteen minutes or so to flat iron my whole head. A good product for flat ironing always helps ease the iron across your hair too.

I guess you can travel pretty much anywhere with it. I live in Canada and I brought it to the U-S. You can also bring it in Europe but you wouldn't be able to plug it overthere because they don't have the same plus nozzle system. Hope this was helpfull !

For me, it workes very well ! My friends have actually been impressed, that my hair stayed straight in different weathers ! When I travelled to Florida a couple months ago my hair stayed straight and silky even in the humidity. If you really want it to stay all day I would recommend buying a flat iron serum, which will help keeping it straight and protect your hair from hot iron !

In my box, I think I had a 2 years warranty and once, I dropped it hard on the floor and it cracked open, so I just called them to warn them I was sending it back, and they send me another one.

Question
flat iron
My hair is naturally very fine, slightly wavy, and a bit thin on top. When i use the t3 flat iron, my hair gets more fly-aways and static-y - i want them to look sleek and healthy/thick after i flat iron them. What is a good healthy product to use before flat ironing? (some product that wont make my hair look greasy on the top where its thinner)

I have the same problem and my hairdresser suggested that I add product AFTER I flat iron my hair. I use a dime size amount of Fekkai's Glossing Cream afterwards and pull the product from the roots down. This has greatly reduced the fly-a-ways I usualy get after flat ironing. Also a good hair spray with gloss in it works well.

I already took mine back, but I don't think it had dual controls for overseas use. The only dial was to change the temperature.
