answer 1
Definitely. While these colors are very vibrant, they're blendable and buildable. To get the intense vibrant effect, you need to put a good amount on. The blue one and the violet purple one don't need a lot to make them pop but you can certainly blend them with, for example, the 3 natural colors on the bottom. This is the best set. I got it specifically so I could wear it to work and out at night.

Shag, Scratch, Underground, and Zero are definitely work appropriate. However, if you want some color, mix Ransom and Zero.

For a fun yet clam and pretty look I used Honey in the inner corners, adding a bit of water to my brush to up the color, and Peace on the lid. Ofcorse blending the to colors togeather too! Also for the brow bone/ highlight I used Vanilla from Smashbox's Softbox Eye Palellet. This shadow isn't ofcorse in this pallette, but you can buy this at Sephora, or simply leave it out, or use a white eyeshadow. Even Tho I'm using more colorful shadows, this looks isnt so crazy, and looks very pretty, uniek, and fun at the same time! Just remember,, you can pull almost every look off, and who's stopping you? Have fun with your shadows! Also Fishnet and Shag make a good combo for a simple look. :D

At times I would wear Underground all over my lid for weeks! It's a great subtle color that can be played up with the other colors if desired. The three neutrals in this palette are very versatile and work-appropriat, but the fun and vibrant colors are perfect to transform it from business to play.

The shadows are really highly pigmented, but sometimes I use an angle brush to use the bright colors as liner on my lower lid for a fun pop of color. I also dull the color down on my lids by layering an earth tone or light shadow over the top of a strong color.
If you use primer give it a minute or two to dry before applying color to encourage a less dramatic color.

I think you can (although, I should say that I work in a pretty casual environment). I have worn honey, shag, scratch, and underground to work (not on the same day!) and think that those can work for a more subtle look. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing the brighter colors to work.

Though these colors aren't the most subtle, I do indeed wear them to work! I am a bit of a glam girl but never overdo it. And you must be too because if you're drawn to this palette that says you are! THe colors are silky and stay put, very rich and jewel-like. I never really gave a *** about eyeshadow til I discovered this particular line...deluxe. Much more subtle but beautiful is the glamour-to-go set...forget who makes it.It's a retro-looking line.
