I'm a green-eyed, fair-skinned blonde. I feel like i've tried every red lipstick on the planet in search of the perfect true red. It seems like everything looks great in the tube, but when i try it on, it appears either magenta or a wierd "orangey" color. I also have full lips, so if the color is too bright, I look like a clown. Has anyone else had this problem and hit the jackpot? The "true red" of this brand looks lovely, but i'm gun shy from my previous experiences.

I am extremely fair, blue eyes and alternate my hair color between light brown and dark blonde hair. What color (I usually go for nudes/pinks) do you recommend?

I was going to purchase the Laura Mercier Lip Color - Creme - "peony" shade online. I have been using the same color. Since I don't see it anymore, what would you recommend as the closest color? I will also consider NARS too. I hope to buy it online instead of going to the store. Thanks.

It's a pinkish brown that's very natural-looking, yet it helps define my lips. Would someone be able to recommend a similar shade? It doesn't have to be by Laura Mercier, but if it had an SPF, that would be a plus. Thanks!
