Tunu Elastik Hair Tamer

Tunu Elastik Hair Tamer

What it is:A leave-in hair relaxer and de-frizzing balm for all hair types. What it is formulated to do:The silicone-free formula imparts an incredible frizz-free shine without weighing hair down as you blow-dry to smooth, straight or curly perfection. Enhanced with wildcrafted Tunu™ and Swa™ extracts, it provides a strong, flexible moisture barrier without chemical action or silicone. What else you need to know:Tunu™ extract (biological name Hevea Brasiliensis) is a rare, protein-rich extract from the TUNU™ rubber tree that provides a strong, flexible, cohesive moisture barrier that eliminates frizz caused by humidity. The elastic properties in this natural latex arise from the ability of its isoprene polymer chains to stretch apart and then snap back to their original position.

This product works on African-American hair. I have chemically treated hair, but i only get a touch up once a year. I either go to the dominicans or do it myself and I love this product.

The tamer is best when used on wet hair. Try the Ojon Tunu Elastik Flexible Finishing Paste for dry hair. Both products are great.

I don't think it should be a problem as long as you use it sparingly. What I do is, after flat ironing my hair, I take a small amount and use it as a smoothing cream. I wish this came in a travel size so I could bring it around with me for flyaway touchups!

Question
Will this product work if I let my hair air dry?
I usually just wash my hair and let it air dry. That's when the frizzing starts. Do I need to blow-dry or straighten my hair for this product to work or will it give me a frizz-free shine if my hair air dries?

I usually don't blow dry my hair. No matter what I put in it, it usually turns into a frizzy ball. I have used this and it still worked for me without blowdrying.

Definitely has the Ojon fragrance, which I like. If you use the amount they recommend (very little), the fragrance isn't overwhelming.

Question
I have fine, wavy hair that I'd like to air dry straight. Will this work and without looking greasy?
I just want to know if this will air dry my fine wavy hair straight, or somewhat decent looking. When I let my hair air dry without anything it looks crazy. And since it's fine and short (up to my shoulders) product tends to make my hair look greasy fast. Will this work or help in some way? If not can you reccomend something else?

For fine wavy hair I would suggest to use a very small amount, try a dime size amount at first for your whole head, I use this product, I have thick black wavy hair, and a grape size is good for me, if you overuse it, it actually does get greasy, it works great though, does exactly as promised
