no!no!

no!no!

What it is:A revolutionary new concept in hair removal, suitable for all hair types and skin colors. What it does:Achieve hair density reduction at home, with no mess, no cuts, no burns, and no noise. No!no! is based on an exciting new technology called Thermicon™, which uses the scientific principles of thermal transference to conduct a gentle pulse of heat to the hair. It features a unique innovation: a thermodynamic wire to transmit the heat to the hair. This patented wire and built-in safety mechanisms has allowed for the adaptation of professional hair removal technology into a home use product. Please note that no!no! is not recommended for use on the face. Additionally, the thermal heat signal destroys the hair, which is characterized by odor. What else you need to know:With a no!no! treatment there's no pain, you don't have to wait for hair to grow long in order to remove it, and there is no skin irritation like in-grown hairs, red pimples, or rashes to cover up. Remember no!no! is a treatment process for hair reduction and not a miracle cure for unwanted hair. Like any professional hair treatment, it takes time and dedication to achieve your desired results. The same holds true for the revolutionary no!no! hair removal system; with all the right moves, stubble-free, super smooth skin will be yours. Be sure to follow the directions closely for the safest, most effective results. no!no! is not a razor:Using no!no! in conjunction with the buffer will remove the majority of hair, but not all. For smoothest results, especially in the first few weeks of your hair reduction program, use a razor along with no!no! for a clean shave. Use the buffer to remove residue and maximize smoothness, then shower or bathe and follow with body moisturizer.Everything you need to get started with no!no! is here:-3 short blades-2 long blades-a storage bag-small brush to clean the no!no! device-charger-1 buffer Hot Blades and buffers are designed to last approximately three months (2 - 3 hours of treatment time). The actual life of a Hot Blade or buffer, however, depends on several varying factors among them: frequency of use, the area and type of hair being treated, and the stage of treatment you are in.

It should work with your coloring - I'm tan with platinum blonde hair and it worked on me! I don't see why you couldn't use it on the chest and stomach - I had NO pain at all on my arms or legs (but check the directions first). As for use during pregnancy, I don't know. You might print off the info on it and take it to your ob just to be sure - better to be too careful where the baby is concerned.

You're not supposed to use the no!no! on your breasts or face, so I'd be careful on the chest area. Also, if you're getting laser soon, it's not really worth the pricetag to buy this, too. You should view the product guidelines regarding pregnancy.

I think you can use it on your stomache but I wouldn't use it on your chest. I am not sure if you can use it while pregnant. You might want to look that up on the no!no! website.

Question
Does it hurt? Honestly . . .
I'm really scared to use this. It's perfectly priced, for what it is. The thing I'm wondering is does it hurt? How does it work? The description isn't clear enough.

You use the same motion as a razor, but there is no sharp blade. It has a wire that gets warm that basically vaporizes the hair and over time it should stop growing back. It does not hurt, but it is not for "sensitive" areas or the face.

It doesn't hurt me at all. I have the most sensitive skin in the world. I have eczema and super dry skin. The twinge of a burn is like NOTHING! I'd way rather do this than get nicks, cuts, Nair burn, waxing, anything. I really can't compare it because the pain is about a 1 on a 1-10 scale!

It doesn't hurt, though it takes a little while to get used to. It's warm on your skin, and there's a smell as the blades singe your hair, but there is no plucking or pulling of the hair or skin.

Although you're not supposed to, I've used no!no! on my face. You have to be very, very careful. I use it on my cheeks, chin and sideburns. I don't think anyone should, under any circumstance, use it on their upper lip though. Save that spot for waxing if you have to.

The no!no! does well to remove fine dark hairs on the face. Once they've been no!no!-ed away you can't see a thing. As for the thicker, courser facial hair (how lucky are we!), it does an adequate job, but it's not perfect. Over time, however, it'll look better and better. I hope this helps.

I have never tried it on my face. It expressly advises against that in the instructions. I have found it stings when it is used on certain areas like my underarms. It may be painful on your face. I wonder if they will come out with one specifically for the face?

Legs, Bikini, Underarms, Arms. I use it on my husband’s chest, back, arms, neck for right under his hair line.
The product does say not to be used on the face so I've never tried it there.

Question
Permanent?
I have been using the NoNo for 5 months now. I have very thick hair and am noticing some areas of patchiness where no hair is growing. I am happy with this. I was reading a review on a different site that said if you stop using the NoNo, your hair will eventually grow back the same as it was before? Is this true? I was truly hoping that the hair reduction I have worked so hard to achieve would be permanent. It has been a lot of work.

Nothing is permanent, not even Laser. Everyone has dormant hair follicles that after time start producing hair again. Everything requires maintenance and this machine beats the price of Laser any day. Stick with it, I know I will.

I had temporary underarm hair reduction after much work and time, however the hair grew back just as before when I stopped using it. I am going back to other options now because this is just too time consuming.

I used the extra blades on my male roommate's chest and nape hair. He really liked it. He said it's better than waxing because there's no pain. it gets warm though. At first, the smell of burnt hair bothered him, but he got used to it. As far as your bikini line, I think it's safe to use it there. Just be very careful.

I would really not use it in any area with a lot of friction, ie, more likely to get ingrown hairs. I got major evil ingrown hairs from this. With all the microdermabraision I have had to do to manage post-treatment ingrown hairs and scarring, I think it is cheaper just to get electrolysis or laser hair removal.

Doubtful. Facial skin is much thinner than the skin found elsewhere on the body and therefore more susceptible to burning (think about your last sunburn and how bad it felt on your face compared to the rest of your body). I burned my elbow using this product and the skin there is much thicker than that found on your face so burning is definitely a concern.

IIRC, the packaging says not to, likely because the skin there is more sensitive and saying so reduces the company's liability. But honestly, I've used it there. Trim first, then nono. If your hair is very coarse there, it won't feel smooth like shaving or waxing, but over time, little by little, the hairs will grow finer. Just be careful! Generally, this is painless but you *can* burn yourself. Nothing major, but nevertheless...

Question
can it be used ANYWHERE?
I really would like to stop making visits to the salons to get my sensitive area waxed (I'm a female) so is it 100% safe, absolutely no risk involved? and does it do permanently stunt the growth of hair after months of use, or does it just slow the process and there's just less regrowth of hair? and it's perfectly fine to keep putting thermal heat onto our pores even after a long period of time?
