I went with a color that more matched my TM (Ivory . warm). It is a good match all over. Then I bought a (cheap) Covergirl very light concealer and I use some cream with it to get a good consistency, warm it up, and then add tiny bit in the inner and outer corner of the eye and slightly underneath. That way everything blends well and I don't have racoon eyes. Maybe a make up artist can blend all of this together, but I sure can't so this method works great. If you have the money buy both the pearl and medium color.

I have light skin and prominent dark circles. I know everyone here recommends Pearl but if you have really dark circles, go with Sand. Warm and Sand are almost the same except Sand has more beige tones. I tried Pearl but it gave me racoon eyes.

You could try the Pearl but it's way too dark if your skin is on the light side.

I personally have fair skin, pink/neutral undertones with dark circles under eyes, I would highly recommend the concealer in 'Pearl'...it has just the right amount of peach/pink tone to cancel that bruised-blue of the dark circles while not being too 'bleached or tan' for fairer skin. I don't think the shades are in order from light to dark per say, 'Warm' I felt was too 'yellow/beige' toned for my skin since I use it for more than just under eyes as well...but best bet, try at a store! Good luck! =)

I, too, am fair and would highly suggest that you purchase the concealer in the same shade that I did..."Pearl" - I would also suggest that you work with your finger and a concealer brush and see which technique works the best for you - I now use my finger and love the result. Don't put too much on at first - build if you need more coverage! I hope you like it! : )

This dries to a powder finish. If you are still oily after using this you may want to look at your primer or use one that absorbs oil. I find this to be very drying as it is.

We recommend setting the concealer with a loose or pressed powder such as the Hourglass Oxygen Foundation Mineral Powder so it's more long-lasting.

I've been using the Sephora Pro Concealer brush http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P279633&categoryId=S4600. It works like a dream. I can also use my fingers, but find that I can really get into the inner corners of my eyes and blend blend blend using the brush.

It "dries" to a creamy finish, which is exactly how it goes on, in my opinion. I found it to be greasy and easily smudged or smeared.

It can be very dry, but if you apply it right it won't be too powdery or thick. If your undereyes are dry, use plenty of undereye cream, use a thicker primer, followed by this. This does not lighten my eyes much so I also use a very light tad of a lighter undereye concealer to brighten. This covers the circles. I also do not put any powder under my eyes, you don't want to get this cakey.

Question
Is this concealer matte?
Do any of these concealers contain sparkly bits? I just noticed my drugstore tube concealer has tiny sparkly bits in it, and I don't like how it looks. I just need natural coverage with no sparkle or shine. Thanks!

Question
color
Hello. My name is Erica. I was recently in Sephora and was matched to Hourglass Tinted Mosturizer in Light Beige, which I purchased for my upcoming wedding. I would feel a little more comfortable with a concealer but not sure which color to get. Could you suggest one? I am a light olive skin tone, dark brown hair and hazel eyes and like I said, was matched to the Light beige tinted mosturizer.

Thank you

Erica

Use Warm or Sand. They are almost the same except Sand has more beige tone in it. Pearl is too light if you have really dark circles and while it may match your skin color, it will look odd on the dark circles.

I asked the saleswomen inside the store to help me pick the right shade . Sometimes it is better to try it on and wear it outside the store and then return to buy the color if it looks good in all light, including outdoor, indoor, sunlight and florescent.

Question
will this cause acne
I have sensitive/acne prone skin. I think this will be great for under my eyes. I am a little concerned if it would cause acne to worse or cause acne if I use over hyperpigmented areas. I saw something on youtube and the guy said this was oil-free. However,I do not see that on the package. I prefer a concealer that I can use all over my face usually. Any help is very much appreciated!

I, too, have sensitive and acne prone skin but I wear this. It covers really well but I don't really think it is good for under eye. I use it to cover my blemishes and acne scars. I have not broken out since I started using it but you have to know that everyone's skin is different. Even though we have same type of skin type, it may break you out but not me. I think it is oil free; I don't think it is oily. It's rather a little matte for me.

I, like you, have acne prone skin. I solely use this under my eyes and it doesn't effect the surrounding areas at all. I've used it only a handful of times on other areas of my face, and don't recall any breakouts. Worth a shot!

I have normal skin, but I get the occasional breakouts, especially if I use a product that isn't oil free. I've used this under the eye, but I LOVE it for covering blemishes or redness in other areas of my face. This has really good coverage, blends easily and looks natural. It is on the expensive side for a concealer, but WORTH IT.

Pearl definitely does not. The sand is rather yellow to me. None of the ones really are pink which is good, in my opinion. Pink on top of purplish under eye circles = blech.

Question
What color do i get?
I cant tell what the shade order is according to: From light to dark.
I know this concealer comes in 3 shades, although your site is only showing 2 shades.

Im guessing that WARM is the lightest, PEARL is the medium and SAND is the deep? I have a medium skintone with a slight olive undertone. and wear Clinique's EVEN BETTER foundation in NEUTRAL 5, which shade in this concealer would best match my skintone?
