It is a 6 piece set. You get mascara, an eyelash comb, an eyeliner brush, a wide smudge brush, an all-over shadow brush, and a small domed smudge. So technically there are 4 brushes.

answer 2
No these are not platinum professional quality brushes. The eyelash brush is very cheap. the best brush out of the set is the dome smudger brush and that can still use some work.

These are the Professional Platinum brushes. They are top notch in performance and wash beautifully with no shedding, bleeding. They are dense and pick up color very well.

Question
Are these Sephora Professional Platinum Brushes?
Are these the Sephora Professional Platinum brushes that you can buy individually? I compared them in the store and they look the same but I'm not sure if the brush quality is the same?

I'm not positive, but I don't think these are as good as the platinum. I have bought a few of the platinum brushes individually to supplement these, and the platinum quality seems better to me. Granted, they are different types of brushes (my favorite extra is a crease brush), so maybe it's because I'm not comparing apples with apples.

yes but is very small so it would be alot of work to conceal a certain area. its all about how you use it.

answer 2
I would say no, because the hairs on this are meant for a powder, so if you use a liquid on them, they might fall out because that's not the toughness that they are meant to withstand.

answer 3
No; all the brushes are really only for use with the eye.

It says made in China on the package. I assume it is all made in China because it doesn't distinguish between the two.

dish detergent olive oil luke warm water. after cleansing deep condition in a regular conditioner (or let soak in olive oil) rinse again thoroughly. let dry upside down for 24 hours. whatever you do dont turn your brushes bristle's up because if water gets in the metal part the adhesive will become undone and it will shed.

Sephora sells a brush cleaner that works really well. They have two formulas. One for everyday or one for once a week. Get the one that works best for you!

Do these brushes work with cream shadow/liners as well as powder?
I have various dry and cream shadows and liners (i.e. Stila Smokey Eye Pallette, Benefit Creaseless Shadow Liners, etc) that I want to smudge... I have liner brushes but really need a smudger and one to apply all over cream shadow... would this set work?

The liner brush works with liquid (Nars) as well as powder (if damp). I have not tried the smudge brush with creme shadow, although I imagine it would work just fine.

They are def real hairs. I'm pretty sure it's goat hair. But I know from reading up on it in the past, they do not harm the animal in the process. Thye just take it's hair.

I think the hair that is used is natural horse hair. I am not 100% sure, but it is a very good quality and when taken care of lasts and produces excellent result time after time. Hope this helps!
