The product does last a long time, i guess depending also how often you apply makeup. I am constantly working with a lot of people so i often wear makeup and mine always last for about 3 months which is the least it should last if using it often, and it's best that it last at least for 3 months. makeup shouldn't be around for no more than 4 months at least.

Question
I have fair skin with yellow undertone, any suggestions for color of mineral powder
In bare minerals I was a fairly light but I can't tell what color I would be in Powder FX. I am 54 with acne since menopause with active blemishes and some acne scarring, fair skin with yellow undertone (winter) and hazel eyes. I don't get much sun in the summer. I have combination skin. What color would you recommend for me? Also, is this have sunscreen protection? I can't decide between the philosophy air brush or this powder FX. Any suggestions?

I would recommend this, go to sephora and try it on to match your skin tone, they have a primer you can purchase for acne or aging..I also have break outs and I'm 35. Match your skin tone first then get a bronzer to darken the color for the summer if you tan.

Question
Where can I find in stores?
I went to my local Sephora, and they didn't have the brand on hand (and all the girls working there were busy talking to eachother to ask). So where can I find a sore in Cleveland area who carries this in the store so that I can color match?

I used medium beige in bare essentials (which was perfect for me) and I got B15 FX, which I think is a shade too dark for me. It'll pass, but I'm going for one shade lighter next time.

for summer m60 is too light if you are medium skin tone, I am as well and use m60 for winter and switch to m80 on summer, there is a big difference between them.

I would go with the darker one just because these products are much lighter than they look at first. I'm usually the lightest shade in most cosmetics brand and with this one I had to use like the 3rd lightest. Hope that helps...

Question
Combanation Skin
I recently bought Bare Essentuals loose powder and after day two Im sick of cleaning the powder off my counter and clothes. Heres my dilema i have SUPER COMBO skin. Very oily T zone with breakouts and dry cheeks that get flaky. Im hearing this will sit well on the oily parts... but will it make my cheeks look all powdery and cake face? Combo gals help me out

That's exactly what my skin is like. I like this product because it isn't messy and still has the mineral properties. I use a lot less moisturizer under this because it isn't as "fluffy" as the bare essentials and sometimes I need to touch up after 4-5 hrs., but with the compact, it's easy.

This works well for my combo skin. I'd say apply normally with the provided applicator to oily areas, and use sparingly in dryer areas by patting on or using a fluff brush to apply. That way you should get fairly even coverage & protection against shine while minimizing the cake-factor that can spring up if you apply too liberally in drier areas.
