if you use it on the upper lid will it fade?

A good tip to set your eyeliner is to go over it with a small, round brush while the waterproof liner is still workable. If you want, you can even go over it with an eyeshadow for extra interest. Then, once everything is dry, it won't budge until you take it off with makeup remover.

No, This liner will not fade on you. In fact, this stuff stays put so well, that you need makeup remover to take it off, and even then some might still be left behind. I would say get it. It has a smooth texture, and it will stay fresh all day.

For some reason blues always seem to look good on brunettes. So try that, but dont make the look too tacky cuz it can get all wrong. Purples are great 2 for chicks with dark eyes (dark brown, light brown, black brown). Try those! Let me know how they work out for ya!

If you have black eyes and fair skin then stick to the Black liner, but if you want a pop of color, then I would recommend the Flashy Brown or the Flashy Green I'm sure they'll make your eyes look more vibrant mixed with your fair skin. Hope this helps!

I don't see the color here, but a deep blue or navy would be a nice transition into color since you've been wearing black ever since you've been wearing make-up. If you're ready to take a bigger leap: the flashy ultra violet is a nice complement to black. Good luck!

I've foudn that this eyeliner goes on really well on top of other products like liquid eyeliner or eyeshadow, so you might want to try applying your black eyeliner as usual and then adding this product on top of it, it also blends out really well so if you aren't used to using color it is easy to keep it from going too drastic, personally I like all of the colors but my favorites are the blue and purples, purple brings out more color in darker eyes like you say you have and green would look very nice as well the color is a matter of personal tast but i think they're all great, so yea hope that helped!

The Flashy Silver pencil is silver in the stores, and has this highlited "glitter flecks" in the liner, however if I just wanted to lighten my eyes I would stay with the white because I find it versitile in using such as when I wanted to lighten the Flashy violet (13). The Flashy silver is hard to just line and add another color on top. It does however not smudge. I needed make up remover (oil based) to remove it!

I find these eyeliners to be very similar to the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners in every aspect, except for the fact that these are a little harder to sharpen. But the price just can't be beat compared to $19 for UD

I have only used one color from the Sephora line - I would say it is SOFTER than UD but the Sephora pencil does not leave such a perfect line like UD. The Sephora pencil also doesn't sharpen very well - you loose alot of the pencil trying to get even a slight tip. if you are looking to save a few $$ then try it. but I think UD is still better.

You sharpen, which they do well. It's not one of those cheap (despite the fab price point) pencils that continually break off when you sharpen them. Fantastic product, highly recommend. I have six colors, and wish Sephora would make a grey blue and a plum.

Most colors show on the waterline. Green, blue, and purple DO show up, but not as brightly as they would on skin. The white does not show up at all; it just gives a hint of shimmer to the waterline. The black shows very well.

Yes, it does! That's why I LOVE these liners! They show on the water line and under your eyes. The color dissolves after a couple of hours though. I apply mine in the morning, and after couple of hours the color is gone from my waterline, but I make sure to put the liner under my eyes too, that way even after the liner disappears from my waterline the liner under my eyes is still there and vibrant.

Yes, the colors are indeed a lot more vibrant in color then the swatches you see on the site. When I first saw the Flashy Green I thought it was just a little bit shiny, but when I put it on, it was VERY vibrant! I love the black one though, it REALLY brings out the eyes.
I've used the UD eyeliners too, and thankfully these liners aren't AS creamy as the UD liners are.

Hi,

They're better in actuality. Some of the vibrancy is lost on the computers, and I'm looking at three different ones, just to confirm (HP HP and Gateway). It's creamy, too, so that it can glide on, but not creamy enough to break.

Hi,

Sephora sells a variety of sharpeners that work perfectly. Look for one that contains the shavings in an enclosed section, plus one that has a duo size. They're very inexpensive and last until they get lost. Sephora makes as nice duo sharpener as does NARS and UD (Grind House). DuWop had a great duo sharpener, too, that sanitizes tips as it sharpens. I've found a good sharpener with really sharp blades protects from product loss and drag caused by poor sharpeners or dull blades.
