Question
Recommended for combo to oily skin?
I am 30, with olive skin that is combo to oily. I have noticed some melasma this summer, and bought this set to help. I love the serum, but was wondering if the night cream would case break outs.

I have combo skin and use it. Still everyone is different so you first might want to ask for a sample anyhow. It feels greasy and pore clogging at first but it actually shrinks the pores and is absorbed nicely into the skin. All you need is a little bit.

It has not caused any breakouts on me!! My skin is VERY tricky. It's combo/ dry and sensitive AND acne prone. This seems to have balanced everything out!! It might seem a little creamy/oily and I was a little hesitant myself to use it for fear of breaking out. It shrank the size of my noticible pores on my nose! I would definitely give it a try. You can always return it. :)

I also have melasma, and skin prone to breakouts. I use this product along with their vinopure acne/blemish control serum. Not only is my melasma FINALLY beginning to fade, but my skin is clearing up as well. The night cream feels greasy, but it doesn't make me break out at all.

I haven't experienced any break outs to this product, and I break out from skincare products and make up extremely easily. However, it is rather heavy so if you're prone to breakouts with heavy moisturizers than this may not be for you. Try a sample size to be sure!

somewhere in the directions it tells you not to. not sure if it's safe or not but it's a pretty heavy cream for such a delicate area so it can irritate the skin and/or clog pores.

I've always just used regular skin cream under my eyes since mine are so sensitive I don't even get very close--that said, I LOVED the caudalie eye cream sample I received. I could use it all over the eye area and it seemed to make a huge difference in puffiness. I mean I thought I had way way thicker lids than anyone else on earth and after using this they were firmed and tightened--and they seemed substantially thinner. Took care of swelling I didn't know I had. I only used a bit too, which is my one complaint. The eye cream is expensive (like most of the line) and I really wish they offered a half size for half price so it would be fresh product. Given how long a tiny (.02 or something) sample lasted, .5 oz could become a family heirloom...

This particular product is formulated for use on the face, neck and decollete. We suggest using our VINEXPERT anti-aging serum for the eyes and lips in conjunction with our EYE CONTOUR CREAM for the eyes and lips. These are formulated with horse chestnut and liquorice for anti-dark circles and witch hazel and buckwheat for draining puffiness.

This item is not designed for the eye area, however their Contour Cream Eyes and Lips would be an excellent choice for dark circles:

I use it on the underside of my eyes, but I don't use it on my eyelids. So far, I haven't been irritated by it. The line, however, does have an eyecream that I haven't tried yet.

In my experience, you should notice it shrink your pores and and make your skin nice and luminous right away. The evening of the skin tone happens over time. I also find that it works best with the vinoperfect serum. I highly recommend using the combo - the serum has a lot more of the grape stuff (something with an "R") that evens out skin tone. I noticed a significant difference after a month but i wasn't completely even ... so maybe 2 months.

They have a similar purpose but slightly different focuses. They both help to even skin tone and can give a nice glow but the serum has a lot more of the even skin tone ingredient and the night cream adds the benefit of exfoliating (which helps the process) and shrinking pores. I've used each on their own but that said, I personally use and recommend using the serum and night cream together.

the serum is meant to be used after cleansing and before moisturizing. serum is more concentrated (I think) and does make skin silkier and softer but of course it's not a moisturizer.

it allows some mixing and matching in the line--like using the spot reducing serum days to reduce some acne spots if you have combo skin and need vinopure for oil balance. or you could use the vinopure serum at bedtim with the vinoperfect system if you had occasional breakouts and lots of past damage to clear up.

cuz we ladies need our options heh ;-)

The NIGHT INFUSION CREAM has a different amount of stabilized VINIFERINE which is the natural ingredient that lightens and brightens the skin. It is also very hydrating and repairing for cellular renewal at night. It gently exfoliates for more luminous skin. The VINOPERFECT system when used together delivers the most optimal results for lightening and brightening.

Everyone's skin is different - some more sensitive than others - and I don't know if you're technically supposed to or not but I'd say I have semi-sensitive skin and I haven't had an issue with exfoliating and then using the night cream in one night.

Question
Vinoperfect night and day vs. vinexpert
I tried a couple of samples which were all great but it wasn't enough to get a good feel for the differences within the product line. I'm hoping there's a HC Caudalie junkie who can clue me in.

Is there a big difference between Vinoperfect Day (have a nice deluxe freebie) and Vinoperfect Night? I know Day has an SPF but it's not all chemically so should be okay 24hr. Is there a huge difference in the night and if so what is it?

Also--how does the Vinoperfect night compare with the Vinexpert night? I thought the Vinexpert sample (just a lil one) felt super silky and more hydrating but that was comparing Vinexpert night with Vinoperfect day.

If they're pretty much equal I'll use up the Vino-day AM/PM, but if there's a big difference I want to pick the right night cream.

The day and night cream are similar in that they both contain the ingredient Vineferine to correct and prevent dark-spots and boost skin's radiance. The night cream also has Grape Acid, which accelerates skin's natural exfoliation overnight. To get the maximum benefit, we recommend both the day and the night cream of this regimen.

I've only used the brightening line. I use the serum in the am along w/ the day cream and retinol under the night cream in the pm. I think most people use the serum at night but I don't have the time to use 3 products. Unsure what would be the big difference between the day and night besides the SPF although I'm not crazy about using the SPF everyday nevermind at night so I wouldn't use at night just for that reason. I don't get enough sun on regular work days in the winter to need SPF everyday.

Question
Is the Vinoperfect Celll Renewal Night Cream bleaching?
I am a dark skinned African-American woman and I wanted to know if this product is safe for me to use. It was pitched to me by the saleswoman as great for moisturizing and evening skin tone, but reading the description with the term "lightens" has me concerned that it may bleach my skin. Does the product have bleaching properties?

This will NOT bleach your skin. When they say "lightening" they mean it will lighten dark spots, whether they be from sun damage, age, post-acne marks, etc. It won't make your skin lighter in color as a whole, it will just lighten the dark spots to match the rest of your skin tone.

No, this will not bleach your skin. Caudalie is a natural brand, and this product will brighten and even the skin tone in the same way that Vitamin C does.

Is this hydrating enough for dry skin?
I had a sample of this that I finished it in two days only because I had to use a lot, I wasn't sure if the consistency was just dry because it's been opened or if it's really not richand moisturizing enough for dry skin. Thanks.
