You probably could, this has a lovely sheen when used over shadow or own its own. Just make sure you pat it on with a brush if it's over a shadow!

absolutely! that's the idea--this stuff was made for dressing up drab shadows or adding even more vibrancy and depth to satiny and/or more colorful shadows

yes, definitely, i think that was kind of the point of it, or at least to take a regular shadow (one with little to no shimmer/sparkle and make it shine). it may not have the same effect as if the original shadow had been a highly pigmented, highly shimmery shadow, but i think it will come very darn close. i highly recommend it if that is what you're looking to do. hope i helped

Yes, you absolutely can use it over a matte shadow. It will make the color fade a bit if you apply it too thick. I have done this many times and it looks great. If you want to make the other shadow's color stand out more use water with your matte shadow and and let it really dry before applying this on top.

you can also use it alone and it creates a beautiful soft shimmer. it's perfect for highlighting the brow bone and the inner corners of eyes.

Definitely, it adds a nice shimmer without being overly shiney or sparkly. I put this over a matte shadow and it brightened the colors perfectly.

It is exactly as it appears in the sephora photo--you use it like a mineral eye shadow and must be careful not to spill it or apply too much. i would apply a REALLY TINY amount to effectively avoid fallout- I literally dab my pinky very lightly over a couple granules worth of powder tapped into the container lid and then pat it lightly over my lids as a final touch to complete my look.

it's 100% natural minerals. no talc, no parabens, no anything but mineral pigments.
natural makeup is important to me and i love this product. i know it's supposed to go over a shadow but i use no money no honey alone and it's the perfect highlighting shade.

It is not as glittery as the MAC loose shadows. It has smaller flecks in it which in my oppinion is softer on my eyes and much better for everyday use. if you are looking for more shine it works well with water.

i currently only own MAC eyeshadows/nail polish and must say that everything The Balm makes is of superior quality. it's like benefit but better and a tinge cheaper. i think that this brand is on par with MAC, even better in some respects (MAC lipglass isn't really long-lasting, and the eyeshadows are nicely pigmented but these are slightly better).
