Question
Bleached eyebrows?
Anybody else think that their eyebrows are lighter or bleached-looking after using this product? I've been applying it all over my face morning and night for about 2 months. I have naturally light brown eyebrows and hair, and in the last fews weeks I think my eyebrows are being bleached by it! Is this possible? I know it contains benzoyl peroxide...

It is possible! Benzoyl peroxide can bleach dyed fabrics and hair. Avoid your mouth, eyes, eyebrows, and hairline when using this product.

I think it is definitely possible! I recall reading on the label that it may bleach eyebrows or hairline. Probably best to try and avoid getting it too close to your brows if possible.

Yes, the benzoyl peroxide is most likely lightening your hair. The hair on my hair line is definitely lighter since I started using it too. I'd say just be more careful to not get it on your hair.

Benzoyl peroxide do bleach hairs and fabric, but it's not really that strong. Since it had been months since you've been applying it to your face then there's a big possibility that it had lighten up your eyebrows if you applied it there.

I have jet black eyebrows and I haven't noticed any bleaching. Maybe you can google the ingredient you think might be causing the bleaching and see if it has bleaching properties.

The woman at the Clinique counter at my local dept store told me that they were out of stock for months because Clinque was having trouble obtaining a certain ingredient in the product - I think she said it was a plant, and the plants weren't growing or something. haha - I'm glad it's back!

Benzoil Peroxide - .5% I believe, but don't quote me on that. It's a miracle "moisturizer." Though I wouldn't actually call it moisturizer. I suggest using it before you go to bed at night - you will notice a huge improvement in comedonal acne overnight.

It does contain BP, which I find works way better for me than salcylic acid on the tough cysts. The percentage though is much less than your usual drugstore (2.5% compared to 5-10%) and just as effective so it's gentler on your skin.

Can I substitute this lotion with the Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream?
I've bought the Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream already but i'm thinking about purchasing the acne solution cleanser and toner. I haven't used the Redness Solutions Moisturizer before, but after experience with the acne moisturizer, I wouldn't replace what your were using before. I had mild acne (I'm now using Bliss' "No Zit Sherlock" cleanser and moisturizer and Philosophy's Purity Made Simple Cleanser - my skin is so smooth and a lot clearer now), and all the acne solutions moisturizer did was made my skin breakout, dry it, and make it even red (the blemishes, as well as the areas around it and my face in general). If you have skin like me or similar, I wouldn't recommend buying it.

No, the redness solution moisturizer does not work instead of the acne clearning Moisturizer. I find I dont need to use all 3 steps of the acne solutions line but the Clearing Moisturizer is the most important step! I often need a second moisturizer because the acne solutions one isn't enough. That's where the redness solution moisturizer comes in.

Question
It dries my skin too much! Is this normal reaction?
I've been using this 3-kit-starter for three days. My skin type is 3.
It dries my skin too much and I can't concentrate anything else but my skin. I feel its contraction!! On top of that, it started to peel off yesterday. So I couldn't put any make up on today.
Is this normal reaction to get adjusted or should I stop using this?

Some people have sensitivity to Benzoyl Peroxide. I do! Start using every other day.. then gradually every day. You have to build your skin up to it. If your skin keeps peeling, stop using it. It dries my skin too.. which is normal for BP. After applying I dab a regular oil free moisturizer over any parts that gets uncomfortably dry.

It dries my skin as well. I have started to use a good moisturizer at night, and then I will mix a tiny bit with this and use it as my daily moisturizer under a hydrating primer. I think that this works a lot better than some other acne moisturizers, but mixing it with a little Rare Minerals Purely Nourishing Facial Moisturizer really seems to keep my skin hydrated while keeping breakouts at bay.

It takes about 3-4 weeks of continuous use for your skin to get used to it and stop peeling. Once you make it past the meeling stage though it will be so worth it! My skin was so itchy and peeling and red at first but that has gone away now and my skin is much better!
