Question
Bleached eyebrows?
Anybody else think that their eyebrows are lighter or bleached-looking after using this product? I've been applying it all over my face morning and night for about 2 months. I have naturally light brown eyebrows and hair, and in the last fews weeks I think my eyebrows are being bleached by it! Is this possible? I know it contains benzoyl peroxide...

Yup. it totally lightens your eyebrows. I'm a natural blonde and actually had to start filling my brows in- that's how light they started to get. Now I try to avoid them completely when applying.

I think it is definitely possible! I recall reading on the label that it may bleach eyebrows or hairline. Probably best to try and avoid getting it too close to your brows if possible.

Yes, the benzoyl peroxide is most likely lightening your hair. The hair on my hair line is definitely lighter since I started using it too. I'd say just be more careful to not get it on your hair.

Benzoyl peroxide do bleach hairs and fabric, but it's not really that strong. Since it had been months since you've been applying it to your face then there's a big possibility that it had lighten up your eyebrows if you applied it there.

I have jet black eyebrows and I haven't noticed any bleaching. Maybe you can google the ingredient you think might be causing the bleaching and see if it has bleaching properties.

Does this make anyone else shed white?
I recently bought this product and have been using it for a couple of days. The first time I used it, after like 5 minutes i noticed shedding of white on my face when I touched it. It also stings a little after applied. But I can live with that. Does the white shedding of this moisturizer happen to anyone else? Thanks! :]

That probably means you're either using too much product, or you haven't rubbed the product in all the way- or both. This isn't a product that you let sit and dry on your face. Continue to rub it all the way in until there's no more left on your fingers. That should fix the problem. The white stuff flaking off is a film from extra product.

that happens when I use too much product, or I don't run it in well enough. You really don't need to use a ton of this.

I notice that it balls up and kind of sheds white when I put my primer on too quickly, or when I add a bit of a more hydrating moisturizer after putting this on, instead of mixing them up and then putting them on together. I think you just need to wait about a minute before messing with your face so it dries.

answer 7
If you put on makeup or touch your face before it has a chance to sink into your skin, it has a tendency to ball up a bit. Just wait a minute or two after applying to let it have a chance to soak in and dry and you shouldn't have a problem. Just a little trick I learned after using the product for three years now. I love it!

Benzoil Peroxide - .5% I believe, but don't quote me on that. It's a miracle "moisturizer." Though I wouldn't actually call it moisturizer. I suggest using it before you go to bed at night - you will notice a huge improvement in comedonal acne overnight.

It does contain BP, which I find works way better for me than salcylic acid on the tough cysts. The percentage though is much less than your usual drugstore (2.5% compared to 5-10%) and just as effective so it's gentler on your skin.

I'm pretty sure that it contains Benzoyl Peroxide. I do not believe that contains salicylic acid. Clinique's spot treatment stuff that I bought on here has salicylic acid and I didn't like it. did nothing for me. I use this stuff but only as a spot treatment cause it's pretty drying.

I haven't used the Redness Solutions Moisturizer before, but after experience with the acne moisturizer, I wouldn't replace what your were using before. I had mild acne (I'm now using Bliss' "No Zit Sherlock" cleanser and moisturizer and Philosophy's Purity Made Simple Cleanser - my skin is so smooth and a lot clearer now), and all the acne solutions moisturizer did was made my skin breakout, dry it, and make it even red (the blemishes, as well as the areas around it and my face in general). If you have skin like me or similar, I wouldn't recommend buying it.

No, the redness solution moisturizer does not work instead of the acne clearning Moisturizer. I find I dont need to use all 3 steps of the acne solutions line but the Clearing Moisturizer is the most important step! I often need a second moisturizer because the acne solutions one isn't enough. That's where the redness solution moisturizer comes in.
