How to Clean Brushes
I have this brush, and I use it a lot to apply blush and bronzer.
Recently, I tried to clean it with lukewarm water and mild shampoo, and then let it air dry.
However, the drying seems to have seperated the hair and made the brush loose its shape- it doesn't pick up or apply powder well.
Has anyone had a similar problem or have any advice?

I only use mineral spirits to clean my brushes. Soak a cloth with the it and then clean the bristles. This should keep your brush clean and the bristles keep their shape much longer.

Dry it upside down! :D

This shouldn't happen - but since it is made of synthetic fibers, it is not a great brush to begin with. I have the same one and it leaves fibers in it's wake after every sweep. I suggest taking it back to the store.

You may want to buy some brush guards by coastalscents.com. They can be applied to the brush after you wash them and they help to keep the bristles in shape/place while it dries. I hope this helps!

I use Sephora's spray brush cleaner on all of my brushes after each use and that seems to keep them clean and keeps the bristles in like new condition.
