No. I would not use this brush to apply cream blush. It seems as if the bristles are nicely fluffy—designed for powders, I believe? For cream blush, I guiltily use my hands. I guess a sponge applicator might also work well or a foundation or a larger version of a concealer brush. I guess that you could try to use a cream blush with it. It's not what I would do, but who knows... it might be the size you are looking for.

It was suggested for powder blush and that is what I use it with. I would ask one of the consultants in the store.

Dab tiny dots of cream on your cheeks. Take the brush and spread the cream using only the tapered end of the brush. Make sure you apply it very lightly. Once the cream has spread to the area you wanted, use the full surface of the brush. Enjoy.

I wouldn't use a brush for cream blush application. When I used cream blush I used one of those foam pads for smooth, balanced coverage. The reason I like this brush for *powder* blush though is that it is very gentle on skin. I stopped using cream blush because I noticed the constant tugging on my cheeks over time led to enlarged pore size right along the area I apply blush, which is irreversible. I've found that fingers tend to work best with a cream blush! The product can get goopy if you try to use a brush, and then it winds up going on uneven. Application with your fingers gives you the ability to put the product where you want it, and blend out a bit more easily.

I am a brush addict and have over 30 brushes in my tool box and counting. That does not include the brushes I gave away because I did not like them much. When it comes to brushes, it does not matter whether they'are angled or not. You can achieve any look you want with any brush as long as you have quality bristles - fine goat hair is what I discovered to be the best brush bristles ever. Angled or contour brush are the same brush: both are shaped diagonaly at an angle: one end of the brush is shorter than the opposiste end. They are sold as contouring brush which means used on the contours of the face such as the cheekbones. If you have only limited funds to use: Sephora's #40 - you can use this as an overall brush. You can use this to first apply mineral makeup all over, then shake the bristles and dab it onto the cheek color you want brush along the cheekbones. The brush size is large enough to cover the whole face in a few seconds and small enough to apply on smaller areas you want to focus on. I buy lots of brushes because I am just simply addicted to them and I have funds to support my brush addiction. But if I can only choose one brush, it will be the #40 brush. Hope this helps you.

I watched those mini movies how to use brushes and they are helpful. I use angles blush brush and I love it. My all Sephora brushes are great and don't shed. if they do just exchange or return, maybe some of them are duds. I really love Sephora blushes, they good quality and reasonable priced.

I think it's goat hair. The hair is soft and my Sephora brushes don't shed at all. Synthetic brushes (deluxe antibacterial Sephora set) are more soft and pick up more color.

The longest bristles are about 1 1/3" and the shortest are 3/4" long. The handle is 4 1/2" long. The bristles feel very soft.
